posh and beck's sons are all pretty fug and chavvy looking. it's quite impressive that two people that attractive couldn't produce one even halfway decent looking boy. harper's the best of the bunch and she's cute but resoundingly average at best. hopefully the younger 3 will have more talent than brooklyn whose only achievement so far seems to be marrying rich. Considering he seems as bland as cold noodles and is not a looker, that’s actually quite a coup. Hey now, Korean cold noodle dishes are awesome. The Beckham children all have the worst of Mum and Dad’s ORIGINAL features. Photos from when they were both young are similar to their average looking children today. Dave and Vicki were very ordinary looking when younger. Dave was on okish footballer but when he paired with Vicki he became a marketers dream. When he transferred to play in Europe for $80million he had made more than that for the club in merchandise sales before he even kicked a ball. The Club saw him as a sales powerhouse by selling his jerseys etc. the Club had him sit on the bench most games because when stacked against top European football talent he was classed as a below average footballer. Sadly their children have not achieved much. It is also well documented that Dave barely has a year 8 education due to his focus on football and I don’t think Vicki was a class scholar however what they both have are drive and solid work ethic sadly not seen in any of their Children thus far. I still have hope for Harper. |

I didn't know that about DB. Interesting. But it goes to show that a strong work ethic & being a self-motivated person can get you far in life. Of course, sometimes it's a matter of timing (right place, right time type of thing). I wonder if their kids didn't have the Beckham bucks, would they also be motivated? One of them I thought went to culinary school, but I just double checked, & he didn't. He said he just enjoys cooking. But...if he didn't have wealthy parents, would he have pursued that? Then on the other hand, I personally know several people who turned their hobby into a business & ended up hating it because of the constant pressure, rather than it being something relaxing for them. I know plenty of idiots who went to college, & plenty who didn't. I know quite a few who learned trades & are doing fantastic (back when I was in school, trades were recommended for the "stupid" or "problem" kids, which is unfortunate that they are stigmatized that way, glad to see in recent years that that is changing. We need plumbers, electricians, & truck drivers, just like we need doctors, computer programmers, etc.). Anyway, this is my favorite thread on GR because I love seeing celebrity kids & there is such a vast spectrum of "normal" kids who you would never know that they had famous parents, & other ones who are about damn worthless (Chet Hanks), & ones who take full advantage (can be for selfish reasons, or sometimes altruistic reasons, or even "just because") of their parent's fame. I like seeing if they look like their parents (for better or worse), & how many follow their parent's path, & if so, do they have any talent or not. Sorry, my ramblefest is over. |

If it was anyone else, this wouldn't have even crossed my mind, but as soon as I saw "Polaroid" on Charlie's t-shirt, I was like "eew," because I wouldn't be surprised if he has a vault full of nasty pics taken with one.
