Orlando Bloom is a good pick. I excluded Hartnett because he is American. He also had just starred with Sizemore in "Pearl Harbor", so Hartnett was already established on a major American production. I just realized Ewen Bremner had been in Pearl Harbor, too, so that would exclude him based on "Black Hawk Down" not being his first major American production. It's kind of strange to me how closely together both of these films were shot - both in 2001. "Pearl Harbor" before "Black Hawk Down". Cast members who appeared in both: Tom Sizemore Josh Hartnett Ewen Bremner Kim Coates William Fichtner Oh fair point I thought he was Canadian.

If Hugh Dancy was one, he was the lead in the TV series Hannibal, Man, I miss that show. I love Hannibal/Hugh. IIRC the going guesses for the actors were Ioan Gruffud for the first one (getting screwed over by Harvey Weinstein), Hugh Dancy (tv, indie movies, stage), and Orlando Bloom (Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean). YMMV. This blind stuck in my head because it was a reader blind so it actually somewhat coherent and believable.

On February 18, Tom Sizemore suffered a brain aneurysm and was hospitalized in the ICU at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. And a few days ago, Tom’s rep said that his family was told he would not pull through. Last night, Tom’s manager Charles Lago announced that he has died. Tom’s brother, Paul Sizemore, and Tom’s 17-year-old twin sons, Jagger and Jayden, were by his side at the time of his death. Tom’s manager gave this statement to People: “It is with great sadness and sorrow I have to announce that actor Thomas Edward Sizemore aged 61 passed away peacefully in his sleep today at St Joseph’s Hospital Burbank.” Charlie added that Tom, who had been in a dark, bad place for a while, was doing better the past couple of years and “getting his life back to a great place.” Tom was 61. Tom’s professional acting career started in 1989 with roles in the movies Lock Up, Rude Awakening, and Born on the Fourth of July. Around that time, Tom also played Dana Delany’s love interest in several episodes of China Beach. Dana Delany remembered Tom on Twitter, saying he wanted to be Robert De Niro. Well, Tom would end up working with De Niro on 1991’s Guilty By Suspicion and 1995’s Heat. Besides working with his idol, the 90s was also a big time for Tom’s career because of his performances in Blue Steel, Wyatt Earp, Passenger 57, Where Sleeping Dogs Lie, Hearts and Souls, True Romance, Natural Born Killers, Devil in a Blue Dress, Bringing Out the Dead, Play it to the Bone, Strange Days, The Relic, and in Steven Spielberg’s Saving Private Ryan, the second biggest OSCUH SWEEPER of 1999 (the first being Shakespeare in Love). In the early aughts, Tom starred in Black Hawk Dawn, Red Planet, Get Carter, and Pearl Harbor. But while Tom’s career was at its peak in the late-90s and early aughts, his personal life was the exact opposite situation. Tom battled drug addiction for most of his life, starting when he was 15. Tom’s only marriage was with soap actress Maeve Quinlan, and it ended after three years in 1999 because of his drug issues. In 2003, Tom was arrested for domestic violence against his then-girlfriend Heidi Fleiss. He was convicted and sentenced to time in jail and rehab. Two years later, in 2005, Tom became a father when Janelle McIntire gave birth to their twins, Jagger and Jayden. Two years later, Tom was busted for drug possession. To make matters worse, Tom, along with his ex Heidi Fleiss, joined the third season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew in 2010. In July 2016, Tom was arrested for a second time for domestic violence when he assaulted his girlfriend. A year later, in 2017, he pleaded no contest in the case and got probation. That same year, The Hollywood Reporter published a report stating that in 2003, Tom was told to leave the Salt Lake City set of the movie Born Killers (not to be confused with Natural Born Killers) after an 11-year-old actress said that he molested her during a photo shoot for the movie. The girl’s parents went to the police but never pressed charges. When the actress was 26 in 2018, she sued Tom, saying the alleged abuse caused her permanent emotional damage. Tom denied the allegations, and the lawsuit was dismissed. The woman’s lawyer said at the time that the lawsuit was dismissed because of “a ruling by the Utah Supreme Court in June in an unrelated case, which upheld the state’s statute of limitations for sex crimes.” Despite the allegations and Tom’s troubles, he regularly worked and has nearly 230 credits to his name and starred in many projects that haven’t been released yet. More recently, he was in Twin Peaks: The Return and will be seen in the next season of Cobra Kai. dlisted.com/2023/03/04/tom-sizemore-has-died-at-61/#more-435618
