An interesting podcast. I'm working on this case along with The Innocence Project. This man has been in prison since I was in kindergarten. soundcloud.com/junctionpodcast

I love that you have an active part in working on one of these cases. It must feel rewarding and heartbreaking in turns.

Sometimes it is. Though I worked on one years ago that I vehemently disagreed with our position. They were trying to save a guy on death row who killed a whole family so he could rape a 4-5 year old girl. Can't remember his name, but if anyone deserved to die it was him.
In this case, I can't definitively say this guy is innocent, but I can 100% say there was zero real evidence against him. Like none. We're working on having the evidence tested for DNA.

That's tough. How do you keep yourself together when you vehemently disagree with your firm's position? I mean, we all need a job but you seem like someone who can easily find another if it comes down to it. I would have a super hard time with this. I guess I have to learn to better compartmentalize, but still.

I have worked on the "wrong" side many times over the years, its just part of he job, but the majority of the pro bono I've worked n has been rewarding.

I think it's super cool you're working the Innocence Project, greys. I wish I had the skills to do something like that.
