I had read about this movie months ago. It premiered on Starz channel tonight. It's about two young women who climb a gigantic mile-high abandoned radio tower as some kind of achievement (like a K-2). Not giving anything away, but on starting the climb down, the ladder collapses, leaving them stranded. The rest of the movie is about how they try to get back down. If you have acrophobia like me, watching this is torture.

I’ve heard the same. As someone who is scared of heights, I’m afraid to watch, I kind of want to.

Omg! I almost hyperventilated from just watching the trailer! I think I saw the trailer when I was recovering from Covid. I wanted to see the movie because it sounds crazy.
I am terrified of heights but I’m fine in skyscrapers and even rooftops. And weirdly I’m more scared of being on a ladder than I am a ski lift or Ferris wheel. Makes no sense. Being trapped on a tower like this would literally give me a heart attack though.

It has some great plot twists. You would think that you could not string out a whole movie from getting stuck on a giant tower, but there is a lot going on there.

Being trapped on a tower like this would literally give me a heart attack though. I am the same way. I think it’s more about the “security” of where I’m standing vs. the actual height alone. I had to climb the ladder to my attic a few months ago & once I got about 6 rungs up, I got lightheaded & thought I was going to puke. We have a huge Ferris wheel in the tourist trap shopping area near my house & I rode it once & the views of the ocean were spectacular. as long as I was looking outward & not down, I was fine.
