So, I am all alone this weekend. The kids have both gone back to school. Mrs Mo is on a Scouts camping trip. My Inlaws have been in Florida for 6 months. So, it's just me and Bleu. I had forgotten what a loving animal a Siamese could be. He follows me from room to room. Comes when I call him. Demands to be petted and purrs outrageously when I do it. Then, sits at my feet while I'm doing something on the laptop. As much as I loved my dearly departed Maine Coon and Turkish Angora, this cat is on a whole other level. Ironically, when I left our bedroom door open last night so that he could hop on the bed whenever he wanted, he never came up. So far, he only likes sleeping next to our daughter.

I had a chonky seal-point Siamese who was the best cat. He was skittish and hardly ever seen until my son was born and then his personality did a total 180. It was wild. He was so chill and sweet, and acted as a protector of my older cat who was dying, against our other miscreant cats. Oliver... I feel like we didn't do our best at the end of his life, he was the last cat standing and we got a big dog, had to move etc., will always feel bad about it.
