I'm about 8 months into consistantly decluttering crap around my home. My daughter just turned 3 and ever since having her I just can't stand having so much junk around the house.
Anyway, I thought if anyone else was going through the process they might want to brag about their recent declutters.
I've managed to offload a ton of stuff on the Facebook Marketplace over the past few months, today I got rid of:
2 NWT t-shirts that were too small when I got them and are even smaller now An old Vera Bradley bag A few of my daughter's never played with toys
And I made $30!
We have a spare room that we use to keep our plant starts in and it is a trash hole right now, all of this stuff came from there. I have to get it cleaned out before seed starting season in a couple of weeks!
So, what did you trash/sell/rehome recently?

Aw! Good for you! I am working on my office at the moment - I ended up bringing home 5 yrs worth of paperwork & I am gradually going through it. I have a load of clothes to send to a charity shop (not good enough for Facebook, too good to recycle)
I really struggle with clutter as it depends how my head is doing. I listen to poster complain about their hoarding parents & it’s really uncomfortable but my parents are the “save that but of string”-boomers

There are so many times I think I offloaded a ton of stuff, then I turn around and am like wtf, why is there so much junk here LOL My craft space is the worst, I've been chipping away at that but it's overwhelming at times.

The struggle is real. The Mr. would tell you I'm a hoarder but I AM NOT!! I just have many years and many collections of cool stuff, vintage, things that I could sell on ebay or things collectors would want. Or I just want to keep it for my own emotional reasons because that STUFF represents moments in my life and parting with it is HARD. I've been working on packing things up to donate to a local thrift store that benefits an animal shelter so giving back that way makes me feel good. Baby steps.
I was reading something recently that was telling adult kids, don't force your parents to get rid of things they want to keep. For those emotional reasons. I had to agree, When my mom died, I had to go through all her stuff and other than a handful of things I wanted, I had no problem parting with the rest. Because it wasn't MINE, and I had no emotional attachment to it. But it meant something to her when she was alive, so leave it be till they're gone.
As for real clutter, like day to day paper that comes in, I have no problem disposing of it, but even that can get away from you if you don't keep on top of it.

A lot of the stuff that comes in with my post through the letter box goes straight into my recycling.
