Hmm well I don't see how Keogh has a chance in hell but Riley might. I remember Priscilla had custody of them for a time after Lisa lost custody. Per the Daily Mail, he (Lockwood) says he has the girls now, and lives in LA with his new wife. They supposedly had 50/50 custody.

Poor Priscilla, signing that DNR must have been so hard. Still, the family absolutely did it right, Lisa-Marie's body did not have to suffer and that's the most important thing. Yeah. Although the natural inclination is to fight for them to bring your loved one back, sometimes you have to listen to the doctors and accept that you'd only get something that used to be the person you loved. Priscilla and the family made the right decision. No, it's not. Especially as she seems to be one of the few parents/guardians of wealthy children who actually did so right in their handling of the fortune entrusted to them. I've never been crazy about Priscilla, but she certainly did right by her daughter in that way, and I can only imagine the grief she is enduring with Lisa Marie's death. I wonder who will get custody of the minor children now. Wasn't Lockwood a druggie? What a mess for those children as well. It's all so heartbreaking.Word is that a fight is brewing between Michael Lockwood, her first husband Danny Keogh (who has apparently claimed he took a stepdad role in their lives) and her daughter Riley. The twins are 14 so they'll get some say in where they end up, but I guess a lot depends on what state Lockwood is in. The cryptic statement Lockwood released through his lawyer said that he hoped for a speedy recovery because her daughters (their daughters) needed her. But since he wanted to file for bankruptcy and asked for 40 thousand dollars a month to take care of their daughters (although their custody was split 50/50) and 6 thousand a month for himself, plus that he refused to divorce her for 5 years after they split, makes me think he needed her to survive for financial reasons. |

Single mom life means I know some things about child custody. At least in my state (Illinois), if a parent dies, custody automatically goes to the surviving parent. 100%. So, especially if Lockwood has 50/50 custody, he should get full custody of the twins.
As far as his existing child support, even if 50/50, income is factored in. So he would get child support if she brought in more income, which she would from Graceland.

I'm guessing if Lockwood is in deep financial shit then he wouldn't hesitate to ask to draw on whatever the twins inherit under needing it for their upkeep.
I hope that there's some really on-the-ball independent trustees brought on board...

Yep, they're his meal ticket now. But if she was really that far in debt, claims will be made against the estate, and I imagine all that will have be settled before the heirs get any money. They could liquidate all her property and Graceland too.

Edited to add, i do realize nausea can be a heart symptom, not sure if that applies to stomach ache without nausea.

I know that Andy Gibb was hospitalized multiple times (including the last time) with stomach pain. Not only did he turn out to have myocarditis the last time, which killed him 5 days after his 30th birthday, but it was also discovered he had a congenital heart defect, that was later also discovered in Barry and Barry's second son. So the stomach pain may have been related to that, though nobody made the connection. I keep saying this whenever it comes up, but women often present heart issues differently to men, as well as not being taken as seriously when they DO seek help. I was sick for several days before I got help and even then I was brushed off twice. In fact, I was sat in the discharge waiting area in the hospital feeling embarrassed that I'd wasted everyone's time when a doctor came racing in to stuff me in a wheelchair and take me away to wait for a bed on a ward because they'd got the blood tests back and found that I had all the tell-tale markers for a heart attack. Trust your instincts and keep pushing if you think there's something wrong but nobody is listening. It's better to make a fuss over nothing than to be fobbed off when it's really something. |

Wow kitty, I had no idea. Glad you're still with us.  I have heard that before, and after Lisa Marie's passing, I saw doctors on tv talking about the differences in male/female symptoms and stomach issues. I've had so many stomach issues I don't know if I would know but I hope so. |
