That financial info is mind-boggling. If what she says is true, Siegal is a real scumbag. If she has emails of him telling her everything was fine, especially. But I also side eye someone who manages to blow $100m like that. That amount of money should be making money, not depleting it. Reminds me a bit of Johnny Depp suing his money managers while spending like there's no tomorrow.

It's like 2023 is going into competition with 2016 (Bowie, Alan Rickman, Gene Wilder...).

I am finding this very upsetting - along with Tatjana this week. Same age as me, access to better healthcare etc. And then this ...(given the circumstances - understandable, but that poor family) Lisa Marie Presley died after second cardiac arrest, family signed DNR
By Nicki Cox and Bernie Zilio January 13, 2023 | 11:09pm Lisa Marie Presley's family signed a "DNR" before her death. Lisa Marie Presley’s family reportedly signed a do-not-resuscitate order before the singer died following a second cardiac arrest at the hospital. Sources had previously Page Six that the singer was pronounced brain dead after she was rushed to the hospital Thursday, prompting doctors to put her into a medically-induced coma. However, with the news of her “critical” condition, the singer’s family decided to sign a DNR in case she suffered another cardiac arrest — which she did, according to TMZ. Further details of her death come after Lisa Marie was found unresponsive in her California home by her housekeeper Thursday morning. Her first ex-husband, Daniel Keough, who lived with her, performed CPR until EMTs arrived. However, after EMTs were able to revive her after administering epinephrine, she “coded multiple times” while at the hospital.

Poor Priscilla, signing that DNR must have been so hard. Still, the family absolutely did it right, Lisa-Marie's body did not have to suffer and that's the most important thing.

I feel so sorry for Priscilla. She has outlived her daughter and her grandson. That is not supposed to happen.

I feel so sorry for Priscilla. She has outlived her daughter and her grandson. That is not supposed to happen. No, it's not. Especially as she seems to be one of the few parents/guardians of wealthy children who actually did so right in their handling of the fortune entrusted to them. I've never been crazy about Priscilla, but she certainly did right by her daughter in that way, and I can only imagine the grief she is enduring with Lisa Marie's death. I wonder who will get custody of the minor children now. Wasn't Lockwood a druggie? What a mess for those children as well. It's all so heartbreaking.

Elvis' paternal grandmother, Minnie Mae Hood-Presley (June 17, 1890 - May 8, 1980), experienced even more grief, she survived: her stillborn grandson Jesse Garon Presley (Elvis' twin, Jan. 8, 1935) her daughter-in-law Gladys Love Smith-Presley (Elvis' mom, April 25, 1912 - August 14, 1958) her (ex-)husband Jesse Dunnan McDowell Presley (Elvis' grandfather, April 9, 1896 - April 19, 1973) her grandson Elvis Aron Presley (Jan. 8, 1935 - Aug. 16, 1977) her son Vernon Elvis Presley (Elvis' dad, April 10, 1916 - June 26, 1979)

Elvis’s mom died of a heart attack too. It must be a family thing. Of course the drugs didn’t help.

How come there's no mention (from what I could see) of how much of her fortune went to Scientology? No matter how brilliant Priscilla was at making money for the estate, she was dumb enough to let those scumbags leech off Elvis' fortune and legacy to fill their coffers and bring in more suckers.

Yep, and even in his often drugged state, Elvis showed Scientology the door around 1975. By that time he was hardly worth anything in cash or celebrity value, but they still tried to reel him in.

Poor Priscilla, signing that DNR must have been so hard. Still, the family absolutely did it right, Lisa-Marie's body did not have to suffer and that's the most important thing. Yeah. Although the natural inclination is to fight for them to bring your loved one back, sometimes you have to listen to the doctors and accept that you'd only get something that used to be the person you loved. Priscilla and the family made the right decision. I feel so sorry for Priscilla. She has outlived her daughter and her grandson. That is not supposed to happen. No, it's not. Especially as she seems to be one of the few parents/guardians of wealthy children who actually did so right in their handling of the fortune entrusted to them. I wonder who will get custody of the minor children now. Wasn't Lockwood a druggie? What a mess for those children as well. It's all so heartbreaking.Word is that a fight is brewing between Michael Lockwood, her first husband Danny Keogh (who has apparently claimed he took a stepdad role in their lives) and her daughter Riley. The twins are 14 so they'll get some say in where they end up, but I guess a lot depends on what state Lockwood is in.
