Technically, Sean Penn (and Chris Penn) and Robert Downey Jr are nepo babies. Their dads were directors Leo Penn and Robert Downey, Sr.
Nicholas Cage was almost like a reverse nepo story. He acted under his real name, Nicholas Coppola, for his first two films. In the second one ("Fast Times at Ridgemont High), though, he was teased relentlessly by Eric Stoltz about being a nepo baby because he was the nephew of the famous Francis Ford Coppola. Ironically, Cage and Stoltz were playing the stoner friends of Sean Penn. In all films after that, he took the last name "Cage".

Like Mo, I think I mind less when it comes to actors than models. Lily Depp also ranted against criticism of being a nepo baby and I was like ... girl, you're kinda random looking, you're what, 5'' tall, and you run the Chanel catwalk. Her and Lottie Moss are typically the type of girls who wouldn't be anywhere if it wasn't for their pedigree (regardless of whether or not "they put their minds to it" typical comment of somebody so privilged they don't even realise who their connections work for them.)
Modelling to e really is where you find all the talentless nepo babies (even if of course, some of them genuinely belong on the runway, I'm thinking Bella Hadid or Cara Delevigne)
But she's right is that life isn't fair, and EVERY field is plagued with nepotism, so why are we always shitting on actors and models when "political dynasties" don't seem to be questioned as much and that's also where I agree with Lily (DAMN, WHY THE FUCK is everybody named Lily XD) Allen when she says at least, she's a harmless kind of nepo baby.

Nepotism can be both a good thing or a bad thing. I can see both sides.. I don't mind nepos if they are actually talented. What I cannot stand is when some nepo kid can't act/sing/model or whatever yet they continue to get opportunities that should have gone to people with actual talent. They fail over & over & over again yet they continue to get the plum roles or modeling contracts, etc. Just because you are related to someone with talent doesn't mean that *you* have talent. My grandmother was an incredibly talented artist. I can't draw a straight line with a ruler much less create art. It sucks but it's the truth. I feel the same way when someone takes over the family business but has no idea what they are doing (or just doesn't care). We used to have a wonderful little diner in our town that was started by a local family in the 1940s. It went to the son when his parents died. Even though he worked there during high school & college, he had no idea how to run the place. Within 18 months, it was out of business. Yes, I do blame him for not being smart enough to realize he was out of his league & hiring people who knew what they were doing. The Hustons, the Barrymores, etc. were all very talented so nepotism was a good thing. Bit in bold - Brooklyn Beckham is a prime example of this I forgot Lottie got a face tattoo

Jamie Lee Curtis - Daughter of Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh John Huston - Son of Walter Huston Anjelica Huston - Daughter of John Huston and Enrica Soma Emma Roberts - Daughter of Eric Roberts, niece of Julia Roberts Michael Douglas - Son of Kirk Douglas Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez - Sons of Martin Sheen The list goes on and on and shows that the rise of Nepo Babies isn't actually a rise at all, just a continuation of what's always happened. Now, of course, we have the internet and social media so they become better known for far less but in a few years time more than a few of them will have floated off into relative obscurity because they don't have the talent to propel them any further and someone newer and younger has come along to edge them out.

I watch films with both Jamie Lee Curtis and Goldie Hawns daughter yesterday. One has talent & the other appears to have carved a career out of playing herself. I guess a lot of male actors get away with that & she has a good career but .... Not a great talent. I forgot Lottie got a face tattoo Now you might understand why the team had to work so.damn.hard to make her happen. Averagely pretty girl spoils her money-making feature with a face tattoo. Fucking Einstein right there. Also from Feb 2022

She sounds like a real prize.
Nepotism, networking, connections, it all ties together and it is how many, many people get their foot in the door. One of my first jobs in education I was at a school where I found out so many of the teachers were from my hometown -- the school was a few towns away. It turns out that the principal's assistant screened the applications before they were sent to the principal. She highly favored people who grew up in my hometown.

I had never heard of this person before now. She’ll never be on Kate’s level of fame.

Okay I actually looked this chick up. Kate Moss is my freaking age so I figured this chick was awfully young to be her sister.
She's actually her HALF sibling and only 4 years older than her niece, Kate's daughter Lila.
She's pretty enough and I think her body looks good, but she's nowhere near as thin as Kate was at the same age. On today's runway where it's practically the standard that these girls are as thin as Kate was when her size was shocking everyone, they would consider her way too large.
And I saw some MSN story title that said she was drunk when she got her face marked up and regrets it. Well duh, dumbass. That's one more strike against you.
She should definitely be grateful to be related to a famous supermodel because she's pretty mediocre in those circles by comparison. She could be a good swimsuit model if she takes care of her body and doesn't fuck it up like she did her face. If she were smart she'd take advantage and make as much money as possible during the short shelf life she likely has for this career. And get in some good travelling to other countries. Maybe meet some rich dude and hook up. God forbid, get an education <eyeroll>.
That's the one thing I envy about this career besides the money, that they get to go lots of places. (Imagine, getting to go to hole up in Bali at age 24 just to chill out cause you "need" it). But my prediction is drugs are going to wreak havoc. That's probably why Kate doesn't want her around. She has a hard enough time just maintaining her own sobriety. And probably doesn't want that shit around her daughter.

I love Jamie Lee Curtis and think she’s a better actor than both of her parents. Nepotism works sometimes. Also, I don’t think Lottie is anything model worthy.

Most of the “model” celeb spawn don’t have an ounce of charisma or “it factor” It’s the perfect hideout for your talentless offspring.
Lottie Moss without Kate would not have made it past the receptionist desk in any modeling agency, but sure, she can keep telling other girls that it’s just a matter of “putting your mind to it”

Is Lottie her actual name? Or is it Charlotte? (If so she should have went by Charlotte)
