Anyone listened/listening to The Piketon Massacre podcast? It follows the murders 8 family members over the course of one night, in 4 separate homes in rural Ohio back in April 2016.
The present season is live following one of the suspect's trial. The podcast team has done an excellent job on this- they are thorough, and bring on experts in their fields to speak/explain different aspects of the crime, crime scene, etc.

Since they know who did it, and there are confessions, what is most of the focus on? The evidence that got them to the Wagners?

Since they know who did it, and there are confessions, what is most of the focus on? The evidence that got them to the Wagners? Not all confessed, there will be a total of 2 trials (one currently taking place, both capital trials). Seasons 1-3 are several years old and tell the story from beginning- who the victims where, the intertwined relationships, the suspects, etc. It starts shortly after the suspects were arrested but basically works backwards, then forwards. They do some of their own sleuthing with interesting results as well. Season 4, the current season, is following the first of the 2 trials. They are a couple weeks behind "real time", so I haven't checked the media trial updates.
