Jailed Josh Duggar Petitions U.S. Supreme Court to Review Criminal Conviction Disgraced reality star Josh Duggar is taking his case to the top, petitioning the highest court to appeal his conviction in his criminal case. RadarOnline.com has learned his legal team is going for a hail mary after the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit made a decision to uphold his 2021 conviction this October. This meant Josh would have to fulfill his sentence until Oct. 2, 2032, a recent extension to his original release date in August 2032 due to being caught with a contraband cellphone this March. New docs obtained by RadarOnline.com show that Josh's legal team filed an appeal with Justice Brett Kavanaugh of the U.S. Supreme Court. Josh's legal team asked the court to extend the current December 27, 2023 deadline until February 25, 2024 to give him yet another chance to fight for a mistrial. The docs stated that Josh "respectfully applies to this Court for an order extending the time in which to file his petition for a writ of certiorari," seeking an additional 60 days. "Mr. Duggar's case raises an important question, inter alia, concerning a criminal defendant’s constitutional right to present a complete defense," his filing continued. Josh's lawyer Justin K. Gelfand stated that both the Supreme Court of the United States and the Solicitor General of the United States had been served with the enclosed application for Extension of Time to File a Petition for a Writ of Certiorari, AKA a judicial review of a decision of a lower court or government agency. During his sentencing in 2022, Josh received 12 1/2 years behind bars, a $10,000 fine and was required to attend a mandatory "sex offense-specific treatment program." A jury in Arkansas found the former 19 Kids & Counting alum guilty on one count of receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography in Dec. 2021. Josh, who is the oldest child of former TLC stars Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar, pleaded not guilty to the charges and has maintained his innocence RadarOnline.com exclusively learned back in 2022 that inmates at the Texas prison were caught on a secret jailhouse recording bemoaning how they were forced to clean before Josh arrived at FCI Seagoville, where he is currently housed. Duggar has since received no visitors, according to In Touch Weekly, and the father of seven will spend his second Christmas behind bars, where they are set to host Recreational Reindeer Games on the holiday. radaronline.com/p/josh-duggar-petitions-us-supreme-court/

Danny Masterson’s attorneys tracked down jurors at home and businesses as part of appeal effortsA Los Angeles judge said she was "troubled" that disgraced actor Danny Masterson’s attorneys were tracking down the jurors from his rape trial in 2023. Attorneys working for Masterson reportedly contacted jurors even though Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Charlaine Olmedo issued an order intended to protect their identities from the public. According to Olmedo, the attorneys have been visiting the jurors at their homes and at work in an attempt to schedule interviews, as part of Masterson’s effort to appeal his conviction. Masterson was found guilty in 2023 of sexually assaulting three other members of the Church of Scientology in the early 2000's and sentenced to 30 years to life in state prison. Shawn Holley, one of Masterson's attorneys, said that three jurors agreed to speak with her voluntarily, and insisted to the LA Times that nothing "harassing or improper" had occurred during their discussions. However, Olmedo she said she received complaints from other jurors who "felt pressured by the defense team" and who were "not first advised that they had the absolute right to not discuss the case if they did not want to do so." Court documents reviewed by the LA Times found that some jurors were "concerned" by the interview requests and were under the assumption that Masterson's attorneys were not supposed to know their home or work addresses. In one email from September 15, a juror said they looked out their window and saw "a member of Mr Masterson's habeas team" standing on their front lawn. Olmedo wrote that she was "troubled that [the jurors] were approached at their homes" and noted that they had asked her to "inquire how the defense team obtained their identifying information." She passed an order on September 17 barring attorneys from directly contacting the jurors. Eric Multhaup, one of Masterson's attorneys, confirmed to the LA Times that one of his investigators approached a juror at their home on September 15, but said the agent "comported herself in complete compliance with the [California] Code of Civil Procedure." He insisted that Olmedo's ruling simply prevented attorneys and others from accessing the court documents relating to the juror's service, which would include details like their names and addresses. He said that his investigator did not use those intake forms, but instead tracked the attorneys via a general person search like a journalist or private investigator might use. “In short, up until September 17, it was fine for defense representatives to contact jurors directly, subject to...requirements of reasonable time and place,” he said. “Broad daylight is eminently reasonable.” Holley, who did not visit the jurors but spoke to them over the phone, insisted in an email to the LA Times that she feels “confident that none of the three jurors with whom I spoke/met reported our interaction to Judge Olmedo as harassing or improper.” “I made it clear to all 3 jurors with whom I spoke—and ultimately met— that they were under no obligation to speak with me or to meet with me, and they all were more than willing to do so. I met all three of them [separately] at times and places which were convenient for them and I was cordial and respectful of their time and boundaries,” she added. Prosecutors are pushing to have Olmedo sanction Masterson's attorneys, which would be the second disciplinary action against the team in two years. The Independent (UK) via MSN

The attorneys can be sanctioned for that and have their licenses disciplined.

It's a good thing that I wasn't a juror, I would've opened the window and shouted- "Get off my f*ckin' lawn!"

Or Emily Armstrong, Chester Bennington's replacement in Linkin Park. She's a Scientologist who also openly supported Masterson and who - allegedly - was part of a group who attempted to intimidate one of the Jane Does testifying against him. She walked back her support of him when she took up her new role in the band and word of her being part of his Court proceedings cheer team started to spread across the internet. There's been online suggestions that there's been a fair bit of astroturfing going on whenever her involvement is mentioned in LP fan subs, but the information is still out there for anyone willing to look.

There was a person in my community who turned out to be a child molester. I had known him for years. He always had a creepy vibe about him but did not show any signs of being a molester. He never talked about children. Of course, he wasn't around them much when I was around. He would grab at women and force them to dance with him and play with our hair because he was so "kooky" including me. He was a handy man, and he had been into most of the community's houses, including mine. He was trusted and no one monitored him with the children. He was around them alone often, so I don't know how many kids he came in contact once.
He was considered an oddball and loud and told obvious lies - after special forces training in Australia he decided to move to the US - his driver's license was misspelled because he wrote it wrong - he was secret forces for the USA and still for Australia - once he went hunting and creature hunted him - other stuff.
He had also had cancer years ago that went into remission and what we thought was his death bed he admitted to killing a man once.
One day out of the blue there was a mass text to call the cops if you see him and not let him sugar talk into you hiding him. He was arrested later that day. Then we found out [will not give details] about him. He was in the papers, and he is still in prison, but we don't know what is going on, but we don't mention his name. There is one really religious person that will visit him on holidays, so he doesn't feel alone, I hope he is getting what he deserves in prison.
