OLD HOLLYWOOD - THE FATHER: This actor is permanently A list. Everyone on the planet knows the name, even if they can't remember a specific role. He was married multiple times and had multiple children. Several of his children met tragic ends. One of those children, had an especially difficult life. From a very young age, she was forced to have sex with her father. This went on until her death. She was impregnated by her father multiple times, but only one child was born. The rest of the time, the babies were aborted. The one allowed to live is because the father was told one of his friends who he gave his daughter to, is the one who got her pregnant. There have always been rumors that it was not the father that got her pregnant, but rather her brother.

If Brando I never liked him, he came across to me as a complete jerk and narcissistic A-hole. I remember the days when he was top draw-I turned 21 the year The Godfather came out.

Marlon Brando, to the extent he is remembered at all, is because of the Godfather At this point, it's the main point of reference for anyone who knows who Brando is. By the way, the Godfather and Godfather 2 (which Brando is in briefly also) is always in heavy rotation on HBO and other cable channels.
I think you could make as good a case with Charlie Chaplin, who personifies old Hollywood, had 11 children by 4 women, was involved with women as young as 15, and two sons who died young.

I don't think it's Brando because everyone remembers his specific roles, Streetcar, Godfather, Waterfront. But I could see it being him for reasons everyone already stated.
Charlie Chaplin is a great guess. Who the fuck remembers what roles he played?

Mo & Louis, I think you might be right. Brando was gross, but "I coulda been a contender," "Stellaaaaa!!!!" and "I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse," are pretty classic lines - I'd argue even kids today know The Godfather reference.
Chaplin on the other hand,... also gross and honestly, didn't he play the same role over and over? Maybe that was someone else. Yeah, so who knows what he was in beside Old Hollywood film buffs.

I don't think Charlie Chaplin fits. All his daughters seem to have married and had children and careers and are, as far as I can tell, all still alive. Marlon and Cheyenne Brando fits, but the accusation that he molested her is old news as she made the allegations of extremely inappropriate touching in an interview with Paris Match in 1993. I couldn't find the original interview online but someone from Data Lounge has transcribed it and you can read it HERE if you are interested. Cheyenne had one child, a son called Tuki Brando, with her boyfriend Dag Drollet. Drollet died after being shot by Cheyenne's half-brother Christian a little over a month before Tuki was born. Dag Drollet's parents were friends of Marlon Brando. |

The blind doesn't say the daughter is dead, just that she was pregnant by the father. Also, in the case of Brando, why would this even be a blind item at this point? All the principal figures - Marlon, Christian, and Cheyenne, are dead. You can't libel the dead.
It's like saying, "This is a really sad story from the golden age of Rome. Dad, is a permanent A-list kooky emperor. Rumors were he had sex with his sister, elected a horse to the Senate, and turned a barge into a floating whorehouse. Hint: it's not Kirk Douglas!"
