Oh God, my late MIL used to put it on sometimes on Sunday afternoons, after lunch. It's absolute bilge! Bloke and I took to doing the dishes and walking the dog as soon as it came on.

Ha, I should have clarified that I never watch it, unfortunately Mr. loves all those freaking network procedurals so I might walk through a room where it's being shown. Luckily we have many tvs in this house.

I'm amused we're now talking about Blue Bloods in Jizz and Douche's thread.

maybe she feels like she waited *years* and it keeps happening? i dunno, if someone reneges on such a big thing, it could bring on a big trust issue. and likely resentment. she was one of the richest supermodels and she gave it up to raise their kids. team giselle. mr czb and i had this convo and interestingly, he was team giselle as well. it's not like she didn't also have her own big career. I'm Team Giselle, too, and I don't even like her. Brady's inability to just hang it up and retire is very reminiscent to me of Brett Favre. You don't get a second chance to raise your young kids - it is a limited window of time. It's also a limited window of time to play pro football. Tom Brady will never ever be as good at anything else as he is at football. It's hard to walk away from the adulation, the cheering, hanging out with the team, being the GOAT and, of course, the millions he's making. If things are rocky at home, he may prefer being at practice to fighting with at home with Gisele. Maybe she'd like to return to modeling but needs him at home with the kids. Or maybe she just wants him home and healthy before he ends up with CTE like Brett Favre, Jim McMahon, Bernie Kosar or Ken Stabler.

Tom played professional football for 23 seasons, his window has been huge compared to a lot of pro players. You have kids for 18 years before they're off living their lives and growing up.
If he still needs the praise he should be like other ex-players and get a job with ESPN or TNT or NBC/CBS/ABC as a commentator.
Who knows what kind of deal they made but he obviously went back on it and I don't necessarily blame her for not wanting him to continue to abuse his mind and body playing football for one more year of praise.
Never seen Blue Bloods, but Bridget was so pretty as Big's wife in SATC.

I watch Blue Bloods sometimes. This show is so far from reality, it's science fiction. It's so overwhelmingly bad it's kinda fun in it's reactive narrowmindedness, but only because I'm a privileged white woman living on another continent. Every man in this show but especially Tom Sellek looks heavily constipated from start to finish. They are literally full of shit.
While certainly not a good actress and totally phoning it in, Bridget at least looks nice when she utters the complete nonsense her character has to say.

Some might feel relieved to see a boring and cliched statement instead of the sort of pretentious gobbledygook we got from Goopy, but remember, the insufferable Gisele has yet to issue hers.

i think she already did. pagesix.com/2022/10/28/gisele-bundchen-divorcing-tom-brady-after-13-years-of-marriage/...Shortly after the news broke, Bündchen, 42, wrote on her Instagram Story, “My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart. “We have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always,” she added....

So... anyone else hoping that the next Mrs Brady gives an interview where she says she thinks of Gristle's kids as hers?

This is the first time since 2002 that he has lost 3 games in a row. This last one being at home, too. A lot of super-star athletes like Brady hang on, though, until things become kind of embarrassing.

I can't wait to see JizzHell on the arm of the hottest billionaire available. I hope they're photographed daily for Brady* to see, just like he did to Bridget.

So... anyone else hoping that the next Mrs Brady gives an interview where she says she thinks of Gristle's kids as hers maybe i'm naive but i never thought that was as horrible as people made it out to be. i took it to mean that kid wouldn't get treated any differently than her bio kids and that's kind of a nice sentiment toward a stepkid so that they feel like they're just as important as the bio kids and no less a member of their dad's new family? if i had a kid and their dad remarried i'd like to know that woman won't treat her bio kids better than my kid, or like my kid doesn't fully belong.

I think that Bridget, Tom and Giselle really did a good job co-parenting. And I also think that Bridget being decent is he main rason for that. I don't know anything about her, but what I know about the other 2 makes me take that wild guess.
