I'm not sure too many folks here give a hot damn about either of these two, but in reading the comments on various sites, I was struck by the overwhelming number of comments criticizing Brady for choosing football over his family. Now that might not be the reason but it's been clear over the years the Giselle wanted him to quit and spend more time with her and the kids. So assuming that is the major issue... I'm curious what folks around here think. Should he had given up his career and obvious passion in life to save his marriage? If this were reversed, should she have given up her career? Both modeling and football careers have a short lifecycle, would it be so hard to wait one more season if your spouse wanted to do what they're passionate about? I think it's a strawman argument and there's something else at the base and all the "look at our amazing family we love eachothersomuchandwe'llneverbeapart" was for show. maybe she feels like she waited *years* and it keeps happening? i dunno, if someone reneges on such a big thing, it could bring on a big trust issue. and likely resentment. she was one of the richest supermodels and she gave it up to raise their kids. team giselle. mr czb and i had this convo and interestingly, he was team giselle as well. it's not like she didn't also have her own big career. |

His back and forth on retiring is eyeroll worthy enough NOT as his spouse. If that's how he is about football I can't imagine what he's like about anything else that requires decision making. I'm not a fan of either of these two but I don't blame her for wanting out.

Apparently he's got 6 kids with at least 3 different women, none of whom are a wife, so obviously he has issues. Yeah obviously he's an asshole too. Apparently he's got 6 kids with at least 3 different women, none of whom are a wife, so obviously he has issues. Including not being smart enough to STFU on twitter so he can keep playing his dumb sport and getting paid to support these kids whose mothers he doesn't give a shit about. Isn't Antonio Brown the guy who was filmed mooning some woman and then showing off his privates in a hotel pool in Dubai? He's low class all the way. |

I'm Team Giselle, too, and I don't even like her. Brady's inability to just hang it up and retire is very reminiscent to me of Brett Favre. You don't get a second chance to raise your young kids - it is a limited window of time. |

I'm really glad Bridget ultimately gets the last laugh. I hated the way they treated her during her pregnancy and afterwards. Maybe Tom will eventually regret not marrying her? Because she didn't have much of a career (well, not as much as Tom and Jizz) and maybe she would've been happy with Tom playing football so long.

^^ Bridget lucked out in a role on Tom Selleck'a show Blue Bloods. It's been on since 2010 and also in syndication so I'm sure sure she's very comfortable, not Brady money but doing ok. I also found it interesting that their son's surname is Moynahan, not Brady.
