Sounds like the bride and her mother were a nightmare to work with in general. Nothing wrong with removing oneself from the biggest item in a shit show wedding.
Also, making an expensive wedding dress is quite different than making a dress for a guest. Again, nothing wrong with saying that you aren't up to that task. A few days to talk to an atelier and get a handle on if it is doable is completely reasonable.
Victoria may be trashy, style wise, but she comes off as completely professional and classy here. Also I'm bitter that this nightmare bride is making Victoria look classy and reasonable.
Win to the Beckhams. Stop talking to the press in order to make yourself relevant.

VB is pretty drama free with the exception of the cheating rumors a decade+ ago and that was all David. I imagine that the Beckham team had it all together and tidy. Also, 2-3 days between appointments & VB telling Nicola that they couldn't do the dress seems totally reasonable.
The Peltz's come across as a nightmare to work with, including with their own future in laws.

I’d love to hear from the first two wedding planners that they fired… Something I've often noticed - the richer someone is, the more of a grifting, tight fisted bastard they can be. And they often get away with it too, because nobody wants to be sued out of existence by someone with enough money to keep you in court for years just because they can afford it. |

Five former firings?
Contrary to reports at the time (except for ours {pasted from Popbitch}) the world is now learning that the Beckham/Peltz wedding wasn't quite the fairytale event it was initially painted as.
Thanks to lawsuits filed between Nicola's billionaire father and the event's fired wedding planners, much of what we told you about the botched plans last April (and the fight that broke out at a luxury wedding summit over it all last October) is now backed up in black and white court documents.
The tabloids have already pored over most of the fun details (Brooklyn's ideas for personalised burgers; Nicola's secret six-figure make-up fee; arguments over Lewis Hamilton's RSVP, etc). But one tiny detail that caught our eye suggests there's much more to be learned about the full extent of the shitshow.
In text messages entered as evidence, it seems Nicola's assistant once sought to console one of the fired planners by telling her she shouldn't worry too much about getting let go; she was the sixth one the family had been through. The planner said she thought she was only the second.
To which the assistant replied simply: "lol".

Boy this kid really picked a winner here. I kind of feel bad for Vicky and Becks.
This kid should have just kept his head down, went to school and gotten a degree of some sort, or just gotten a damn job and quietly worked his way toward something substantial instead of trying to be any kind of famous beyond what he already is for being a celeb spawn.
Now he's legally bound to a 28 year old "aspiring actress" (one who I never heard of until she hooked up with this aspiring chef) and that apparently comes with a trashy, asshole family with more money than sense.
But I suppose it'll be good gossip fodder until he can extricate himself. Or when mom and dad have to help him do so.

Nicola Peltz’s father appeared to taunt her wedding planner while he fired her, according to court papers.
Nicola hired planners for her 2022 nuptials with Brooklyn Beckham, but had dad Nelson axe them just nine days later after butting heads.
And documents released as part of a blockbuster court battle show that he seemed to goad one planner while giving her the boot, saying several times during a fateful call, “Are you crying?”
The Peltzes hired Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba of Plan Design just six weeks before the Florida ceremony, and are now suing them, claiming they refused to return a $159,000 deposit. Braghin and Grijalba have counter-sued, claiming the family breached their contract.
The court battle has already revealed that Nicola and mom Claudia oversaw a chaotic planning operation filled with all kinds of secrets and scheming and an extremely a demanding bride. It also features a phone call in which Nicola’s dad, who the papers call a “billionaire bully,” seems to taunt the wedding planners after firing them.
According to papers, Nelson called Grijalba to fire her, saying, “I don’t like to have these type of conversations. My wife and my daughter are clearly putting me in a very uncomfortable position.”
He asked her to forward all the planning emails that the pair exchanged with his wife and daughter.
The suits says that Grijalba began to forward some “700 emails” — such an enormous deluge that she claims that IT staff from Peltz’s company Trian Partners called to ask if it was the result of a bug.
Ten minutes later, Grijalba claims she got another call from Nelson, the chairperson of burger chain Wendy’s, in which he bizarrely asked her if she was crying.
The alleged conversation is summarized in the suit:
Peltz: “Are you crying Arianna, Are you crying?
Grijalba: “No, what are you talking about?”
Peltz: “I blocked all your emails. Do you think that was funny?”
Grijalba: “Mr. Peltz, I don’t know why would you block our emails, we are sending all our work for your daughter’s wedding as per your request.”
Peltz again asks, “Are you crying?” and when she says no, he says, “Sooooo.”
When Grijalba says, “Mr. Peltz, you are the one who called me, is there anything else you want to tell me?” he allegedly responded by saying, “I don’t know why I called you,” before hanging up.
The Peltz family ended up hiring Michelle Rago of Michelle Rago Destinations to complete the planning job.
Beckham, the son of soccer legend David and fashion star Victoria, wed heiress Peltz in April 2022, in a $3 million affair in Palm Beach that had guests including Serena and Venus Williams and Eva Longoria.
What an arsehole.
