The Peltz’ are known to be horrible people, at least to their staff. I’ve read several articles about them being nightmares to work for, her too, being a spoiled little brat to the help as well. She comes off as an asshole with this article. I can’t stand her or her family.

^^^^ they're also trump supporters. though the dad allegedly reneged on trump after january 6 but i'm sure it was just to save face. they're trash. I have to say that one of the strong lessons I gave my two sons is that they must never, never, not back their wives up in front of others - including me. I don't see this as being whipped - it is being supportive. Now in private - say your piece, but it can be incredibly damaging to a relationship if a husband publicly sides with his friends, his siblings, the check-out guy at Target - and especially, with his mama. Brooklyn said what he should say- that his wife is his first priority. I'm assuming that privately he balanced that support, but if not, well, he wasn't going to make the situation any better by saying his mommy was right. eta: She sounds like a nightmare of a daughter-in-law - I'm only addressing Brooklyn's remarks. Bad juju, stupid, thoughtless. I'm blessed with my dils - and they think I'm amazing too, lol. this. there's nothing worse for a spouse than being married to a fucking mama's boy

It doesn’t surprise me that they’re Trumpers and I totally don’t believe that he is now against trump because of Jan 6.

The way people treat employees, and I have to say, especially domestic employees, is very, very, telling. In an office, a corporation or business, there is usually at least a token professionalism. (Usually!) At home, much of the veneer is stripped right off, and what's left can be brutal if there is a negligible amount of kindness and character to begin with.

Initially, rumours of a rift began as Nicola did not wear a Victoria Beckham wedding dress - which she claimed during the interview was her original plan, before being told the designer's atelier could not make her a dress.
In the bombshell Grazia interview, she revealed: 'We connected to start designing the dress, and then a few days went by and I didn't hear anything. Victoria called my mom and said her atelier couldn't make it.'
Doting husband Brooklyn made his position clear amid the family feud, telling the publication that Nicola is his 'number one priority' and that they 'have each other's back 100 per cent'.
But insiders have said Nicola is pushing a 'false narrative', leaving Victoria 'bemused' as to why she keeps 'stoking the rumours of a feud' rather than shutting them down.
And Nicola telling her side of the story has led to even more family drama, with David defending his wife Victoria as he had a rare confrontation with son Brooklyn.
According to MailPlus writer Alison Boshoff, David told Brooklyn 'we don't do this in our family' as he 'lost his temper' with the budding chef.
A source said: 'I don't think David has ever lost his temper with Brooklyn or had cause to talk to him harshly, but that has now finally happened.
'He had it out with him and told him: 'We don't do this in our family – and you know that we don't do this in our family.'

no amount of money will make him hot, interesting or talented. hopefully one day he realises that and goes into business promoting genuinely talented people or something but i'm not optimistic. good thing his family's loaded and he married into even more money.

Best part of that video is when Al subtly throws shade at Brooklyn by uttering the phrase, "basic white bread." That was hilarious. I think every single person on the Today show should have got a daytime Emmy for acting like that breakfast sandwich was amazing.
I had read that they served Wendy's out of a truck at their wedding which makes me think that's probably pretty flavorful fare for him.

Brooklyn said what he should say- that his wife is his first priority. I read that as "his first wife is his priority" but then realised that's probably accurate. eta The part where she was so sad, until she was able to rustle up an appointment at Valentino, smacked of rich people problems and reminded me of this old Victoria Wood sketch about posh English school girls, who think anybody who's too poor to afford private school should just do like their uncle the Duke, and sell a Gainsborough:

I made a much better bacon, sausage and egg sammich this morning. That egg was sad looking, the sausage looked overcooked and greasy and the bacon could have been used to sole shoes. 2/10 young Beckham.

Suit reveals secrets, chaos behind Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz wedding
By Mara Siegler
February 20, 2023 | 8:44pm
A blockbuster lawsuit has revealed that Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s wedding was such a snakes’ nest of secrets, lies, chaos, and mistrust behind the scenes that the father of the bride nearly called it off, blasting it as a “s–t show.”
And it claims that the bride fought a one-woman campaign to make sure Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis wasn’t invited.
Beckham, the son of soccer legend David and fashion star Victoria, wed heiress Peltz in April 2022, and the $3 million, star-studded affair was splashed all over British Vogue.
Page Six has previously reported that the run-up to the event sparked an ugly war between Victoria and her daughter-in-law. But the new court papers reveal that the matrimony acrimony spread far beyond the two women.
According to court docs filed by the wedding planners, Nicola’s mother, Claudia, was hiding the true cost of the wedding from her husband — Westchester billionaire businessman Nelson — and tried to get the planners to help her pull the wool over his eyes.
“It is believed that Nelson Peltz paid more than $100,000 plus travel expenses for Nicola’s hair and makeup services for the wedding,” says the suit. “Claudia mentioned to [one of the planners] that Nelson could not know the cost of the hair and makeup, or he would ‘kill her, and be so mad.'”
Meanwhile, the planners say that Nicola and Claudia were an admin disaster — and hiding their embarrassing mistakes from their famous new in-laws, David and Victoria.
The planners claim that they “attempted every which way to get Nicola and Claudia to review the guest lists, but they simply would not cooperate.” And they say that “Notwithstanding their lack of cooperation, Nicola repeatedly demanded live updates regarding guest RSVPs.”
The suit claims that while the Beckhams’ guest list was “fully organized with all contact information fully revised and nearly ready to go,” the Peltz parents’ list and the bride and groom’s own lists weren’t updated and had missing addresses, while “Nicola continued sending text messages in a [group chat] adding and removing certain guests — making the task of creating a comprehensive and complete guest list a moving target.”
But rather than focus on getting their affair in order, the planners claim, they seemed to focus on hiding their mess from the Beckhams.
“Both Claudia and Nicola had insisted that Victoria Beckham could not know about any internal mistakes regarding the ongoing planning of her son’s wedding, including any errors with the guest list,” reads the suit.
The new court filing is part of a legal battle between the Peltz family and wedding planners Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba, who were brought in just six weeks before the wedding and let go nine days later.
Nelson Peltz has claimed that they refused to return a $159,000 deposit
The new allegations were made in a counter-suit filed in Miami by Braghin and Grijalba, who are accusing the Peltzes of breach of contract.
Meanwhile, the suit claims that Nicola berated planners for asking her husband-to-be for input.
“‘I do not trust Brooklyn with this,” she allegedly said in a text message about a planning inquiry, included in the suit. “U should be asking an assistant. He has no idea. And is guessing.”
Brooklyn makes few other appearances in the suit. At one point, he asked if security planners could “get those guns that shoots a net.” “Because there’s probably gonna be drones [launched by the media],” he mused.
But apparently, Nicola had more practical, and political, matters in mind.
“Nicola was adamant about not inviting certain politicians to the wedding, including Florida Governor Ron DeSantis,” says the suit.
Things were so unorganized, according to the papers, that Nelson, whom the planners called a “billionaire bully” in the papers, wanted to “cancel the wedding,” calling it “a s–t show.”
But “Claudia begged Nelson not to cancel the wedding because it would ‘destroy Nicola’s career,'” the planners claim in papers.
Aspiring actress Nicola, 28, has appeared in “Transformers: Age of Extinction” and “Holidate
Grajabini and Braghin are seeking damages.
The Peltz family ended up hiring Michelle Rago of Michelle Rago Destinations to complete the planning job. What do you think? Post a comment.
Nicola and Brooklyn, 23, eventually tied the knot in front of several celebrity friends, including Serena and Venus Williams, Eva Longoria, and chef Gordon Ramsay in Palm beach.
