i think everyone is overreacting about this?
britney by making this into a huge thing, and the people acting like what she did is totally egregious, and the people acting like security is guilty of assault and the bodyguard should lose his job or be charged with a crime.
this is the definition of a nothing burger that has been blown out of proportion by everyone.

I thought that security just deflected her + she smacked herself in the face? That's exactly what happened, nobody got hurt (except her ego) but she had to make it a big deal and publicly say she doesn't feel like she's been treated fairly. I got nothing but eyerolls for that, and I'll save my outrage about fairness for police brutality victims and such. |

That made me laugh so hard, even though it shouldn't. The voice over makes you realize how really deranged she looks when she does this. Britney Spears' Social Media Posts Spark Concern Among Fans Although fans can't see what goes on behind closed doors, they seem to find the pictures and videos the 41-year-old "Piece of Me" hitmaker posts on social media to be very telling. The videos of herself dancing, usually in her living room, have always caused concern among fans; and the one she shared with her 7.7M TikTok followers back in April is being discussed all over again, as a fan re-shared the video on Twitter earlier this month. The Twitter account @olilondontv re-shared Britney's video on July 9th, with the caption: "Someone Save Britney!" The original TikTok video, which showed the mom-of-two dancing in some teeny tiny snakeskin bikini bottoms, a long-sleeved red crop top, and black knee-high boots, had the comments section turned off, so fans were unable to voice their opinions. However, the comments section was wide open on the Twitter post, and Britney's fans were not afraid to say how they really felt! Fan Comments "I don’t think it’s the dancing. It’s more the eyes. Poor Britney," commented one fan, which another agreed with, writing, "It’s the eyes, always the eyes!" Another concurred, adding, "She's hurting. Look at her blank eyes." "Has anyone seen her outside at all?" asked one Twitter user. "Sad to see what happened to her. I hope she will find her inner peace at some point," tweeted another. "Poor thing, she isn’t well," noted another, as someone else thought the dancing was actually a good way for her to express herself. "I hate to say this but if this is how she wants to spend her time, it’s probably the best case scenario for her. She’s got some demons. If this is how they manifest, it’s not that bad. It could be much much worse." Many other fans called Britney "sad" and "broken," with one fan saying, "I think Britney has been gone a long time. It’s sad that they have made her this way," and another adding, "I think the conservatorship may have contributed to this tbh. I think it was justified to some extent originally, but the length of time it dragged on probably just screwed her up more." "That’s really very sad. She’s got serious problems.
