Whatever Happened to Britney Jean? (Spears Megathread pt2)

I finally pinned down what was bothering me about all these pics/videos. There is a kittenish, overtly, and inappropriately, sexual grooming/pedo vibe to all of them. Even the twirling. It's not just immaturity - she is repeating something that at some point gave her the validation she is still craving. I think it makes a strong case for her having been, at the very least, seriously groomed.

You nailed it, seriously. I know arrested development can occur simply with fame, but hers seems pretty severe. And along with the utter obsession with being overtly sexual and insisting that everyone pay attention, I'd say you're on to something. Sadly.

I mean, she actually went HARDER about it after her sons said they didn't like it. That's not normal behavior for anyone. And yes, of course I know none of this is normal.  But this just seems next-level.  Like a child who is trying to get back at a parent by acting out more on whatever subject it is that bothers them.  

Oh and I somehow missed that a couple of weeks ago she posted a recent-ish pic of one of the boys and said she missed him?  This after their firm pleas that they don't want to be on SM and to please stop posting them.  Yeah, cool.

But it's her entire career that did that. She gyrated, titillated, played the sex kitten all her life--that was her JOB.

She is repeating what gave her that validation back when it worked--it was all carefully choreographed, edited, styled by hair and makeup. Now she has none of that, but I'd bet money that in her mind's eye, she thinks she looks as appealing as any music video or performance she ever got accolades for.

She doesn't see the Baby Jane mess that we see.

Bee, I think you totally nailed it. Her hyper sexuality is so disturbing and is obviously where she is looking for validation. Those twirling videos are so desperate and copying her old dance moves so everyone knows she still has it. ok.

I remember reading that years ago, the day she went out on a stretcher at her home that she was basically prancing around half dressed in a sexual manner in front of the EMTs and police and I thought how fucking sad, that's the only way she knows how to act.

Oh, he exists, I read that TMZ did some sort of follow up interview with him and he didn't take it personally. *edit it wasn't tmz, Perez Hilton posted the guy's tiktok addressing what happened.

You know, I understand the basic thought she had with the JitB guy. And there is a kinder way to talk about the feelings she had about that: People shouldn't assume they know your emotional state or assume you want to talk about it. It's ok to set boundaries by saying so, but without being a dick to someone who was probably trying to be kind. She has zero awareness of any of this.

At this point, it's probably 50/50 she's a self-involved trash person, and she's mentally ill.
