I kinda like the idea and the title. I mean, it is a well known fact that those that come after the heir to the throne either breathe a sigh of relief or become troubled. The late Dutch Prince Johan Friso said he hoped his older brother William Alexander would live a long, healthy, safe, life so that he would not have to ever fill in for him. Tragically he died after a skiing accident, I believe somewhere in 2012 or 2013. Princess Margaret of the UK wanted to have her cake and eat it too. She did not want to give up her royal privileges to marry "the love of her life", but she was jealous of Elizabeth for being #1 (even though Margaret probably did not have the right stuff and discipline to do the boring stuff a #1 has to do). |

i love the halo effect on the cover - good strategy for covering the thinning hairline.
doubt i would read this one, either. but it is probably more interesting than chandler's bittertown book.

I like the title too, might have liked it better as "The Spare" but I get it. It's on pre-order at Amazon, it could definitely be something I would read but I might wait for some reviews to come in to make sure it's not a whitewash. But from what I saw in those clips from that Oprah show, he's ready to spill.

Most people have things they could whine about, but when you are so privileged and your life really looks quite good on balance, many people will have limited patience to hear you whine about the things in it that aren't ideal. Harry and Meghan really seem quite unaware of this.
