Leonardo DiCaprio & Camila Morrone Split

Leonardo DiCaprio and his model-turned-actress girlfriend Camila Morrone have reportedly called it quits after five years together.

The 47-year-old Academy Award winner and the 25-year-old beauty 'quietly' ended their relationship earlier this summer, a source close to Leo claimed to The Sun on Tuesday.

The latest breakup seems to reinforce a pattern the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood star has established of never publicly dating a woman over the age of 25.

Insiders close to DiCaprio claimed to the publication that he and Morrone had been growing apart recently.

'Leo and Camila ended their relationship over the summer,' a source said. 'There are no bad feelings between them. It just came to a natural conclusion.'

The Revenant star, who is Camila's senior by 22 years, was first introduced to Camila back in 2008, when she was only 12.

His longtime friend Al Pacino, who had dated Camila's mother Lucila Solá for years, made the introductions, and Leonardo apparently remained friends with the family for years.

I want to know the real story about Leo and his girlfriends. He is weird.

I would guess that he finds these girls who are young and easily swayed by who he is, his money and lifestyle and I bet that after 5 years that girl is like, yes he's going to marry me I'm going to have his babies but the reality is he wants nothing to do with any of that thus they breakup. He also knows that a lot of women HIS age are either divorcees with children or want to be married and maybe have children - thus he wants nothing to do with THEM.

He just seems like a man who is 47 trapped in a 27 year old mentality when it comes to women and relationships.

I didn't know about him knowing this gal when she was a little kid, that's definitely getting the side eye from me.

It was just a matter of time once she turned 26. Surely he could find a woman his age or at least closer to it who doesn't want marriage or kids, but I guess older women would have careers and minds of their own and not be at his beck and call.

It seems like he is doing the Warren Beatty/George Clooney thing. Dating an endless series of much younger women until he is basically worn out and ready to settle down and have kids - Beatty at 55 and Clooney at 53. So, he has got at least 6 more years of doing this.

I didn't even have a chance to remember what she looks like. Hopefully, she'll find someone who is past the manchild stage. I mean, it would be nice if he could mature a little, for his own sake, but doubt that would happen. I think his goal is to be Jack Nicholson (all of his goals involve Jack N) in that movie where he says he's never seen an older woman's breast before and his character's age is 60-70. Something's Gotta Give?
