I wouldn't wear them at all. I'm ashamed to say I did see a fun pair of fluffy Ugg slides and I kind of liked them. Kiernan Shipka was wearing them. They're not my normal style, but they look like fun to wear. But how freaking adorable is she?  |

Love her. I was watching an old rerun of Monk the other day and she had a bit part as a little girl in a store. It was pre-Mad Men. I was like, omg it's Sally!

I wouldn't wear them at all. I'm ashamed to say I did see a fun pair of fluffy Ugg slides and I kind of liked them. Kiernan Shipka was wearing them. They're not my normal style, but they look like fun to wear. But how freaking adorable is she? she makes them work though. like i saw a girl the other day wearing a pair of hideous massive early 2000s buffalos in neon yellow but she was tiny and asian and had a really cool, quirky style and she totally made them work. |

Yes. All of this. You really need to bring your A game if you're going to go for "ugly" stuff. You definitely need to be quirky and have your own style. I could have carried that off in my 20s/early 30s, but now I will look more like Karen in Cabo than I will like Kiernan Shipka in NYC. I wish I could have lived in NYC back in my 20s because I wore a lot of loud stuff and no one would have looked at me like they did here which made me tone it down sometimes. Boo. |

NYC would have been a great place to be young and quirky. Catholic school in my part of the US was not. I too wanted to wear loud shit too. This looks like something I would have wanted to wear in the 80s-90's
