Kate's dress reminds me of the one she wore post birth for George.
I like Camilla's dress but I wish she accented it with white and not smoke caked curtains beige.

Seeing Carole Middleton with her same boring long hair irritates me. The style has never suited her or Pippa.

The Duchess of Cornwall took an affectionate poke at woke in a speech yesterday when she joked to assembled guests: 'Ladies and gentlemen, if I am allowed to call you that.' Camilla, 74, appeared to be making a light-hearted reference to the national debate over whether people should be addressed by 'their pronouns' - such as she/her he/him and they/them - as part of the gender identity debate. Her reference at a lunch to celebrate her 75th birthday thrown by The Oldie magazine prompted amused laughter among her audience. www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-11006537/Camilla-chats-pal-Joanna-Lumley-shares-joke-Dame-Zandra-Rhodes.htmlPrincess Anne at the Great Yorkshire Show on Tuesday. The Queen has praised the "amazing" Covid vaccine rollout and awarded the NHS the George Cross. Health leaders from the four UK nations were awarded the medal at a small ceremony at Windsor Castle on Tuesday. It is only the third time ever that a George Cross has been awarded to an organisation rather than an individual. Joining the event was May Parsons, the nurse who delivered the world's first vaccine outside of clinical trials on 8 December 2020. The Queen said the vaccine effort which began on that day was "amazing" as she celebrated the achievements of the NHS. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-62136262

Social media amplifies a minority though. I bet in real life more people are ok with her comment than not. I can think of maybe a handful or people Camilla’s age who don’t get defensive or roll their eyes over pronouns and the debate about inclusive language, even pretty liberal ones. It’s one topic where there really is a massive generation gap. Even among cis gay people.
Still I’m surprised she would say something like that in public

Social media doesn't give you a good idea of what the majority of people think at all.

Yeah, I know. I was going to say that it went over like a lead balloon everywhere but that room and realized that isn't true at all. I just meant that social media probably canceled her within minutes of that comment.

ok. i don't know the group to which the speech was given. but in a public setting. yuck. i still think it's an asshole move.
it's not like she's at tea at kensington palace with a bunch of biddies playing pinochle or whatever these clowns do for fun.

Well, it was public enough that we know about her saying it, so I think it was definitely assholey as well as brazen. Unfortunately, there are many that would find it hilarious or at least chuckle-worthy, but it's still not a good look for a future queen or wife of a king or whatever her title will be.
