Like the Queen, who has spent much of her reign at Buckingham Palace during the week and Windsor at weekends, the couple would have easier access to the capital with a home in Berkshire than their retreat at Anmer Hall, Norfolk.

Separately, meetings have been taking place between Prince Charles and Sir Michael Stevens, Keeper of the Privy Purse, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge about how Royal properties might be divided up in future.

I think it’s just common sense that two of the most high profile royals in the world are always at risk.  They are no less at risk than Kate and Will, if not more at risk.  No white supremacists are targeting Bill and Cathy.

Bill and Cathy are still state assets and as such, the police are probably under greater obligation to protect them. Also, while M&H may have received more threats, they can visit the queen without publicizing it in advance. I would say Bill and Cathy are at greater risk when the crazies can just check a calender to find out where they will be and when. Mind you, increased risk is still not great risk.

I highly doubt that she had a (sexual) affair no matter how unhappy she might have been; duty play too highly in her character.

Also DoE had been away but was back home by May 1959 in time to conceive Andrew.

Do you actually think Charles will kick Andrew, Fergie & Co out of the Royal Lodge? Can anyone but the queen stop Andrew from flying off the rails when they try to limit him? I'm beginning to think it is going to be a $hit$torm after the queen dies. Andrew has been protected by her for decades, but I think Charles will have limited ways of containing Andy & Fergie. 

Their interviews if Chuck and Bill cut them back could make the Oprah/Harry/Meghan chat look low-key. Who's going to stop it? They'll have to keep footing the bills if they want Andrew to stay out of the press with 'his side of the story.'

eta: Kate's face looks a bit haggard in these photos, but I actually like her outfit better than Diana's. Yes, it's another coat dress, but I like this one, and the style is very Kate.

I think that Charles will keep him
on a short lease by way of limiting his financial freedom; but we don’t know what his grandmother left him other than the lease on that white elephant lodge. I wouldn’t be surprised if he had an income from a trust somewhere. I also think that his mummy will make sure that he is looked after when she is gone.

I think that Bill would enjoy evicting him from the lodge because I perceive Bill to be petty & mean.
I think that Charles had plans to cut down on who gets £££.


Well some times when you name a child for an ancestor you have to be careful what you are wishing on them….

His father, Prince Andrew of Greece (1882-1944), was a disgraced military commander, charged with treason for failure to carry out orders in the Greco-Turkish War (1919-1921) and subsequently stripped of his royal titles. Blamed for the loss of Greek territory in that disastrous war, he was imprisoned and sentenced to death.


Andrew had always lived a lascivious lifestyle, carrying on one affair after another with both men and women, so it is not surprising that he largely ignored his wife and children. Princess Alice suffered a mental breakdown when young Philip was nine years old, and she was placed in an asylum in Switzerland for three years. Prince Andrew then relocated to Monaco to live with his mistress, abandoning Philip, who was sent to England to be cared for by his relatives, the Mountbattens. The Cambridges are back from their half-term skiing trip to France just in term for the Sunday Easter service.

Kate took it as an opportunity to embrace spring hues by donning this Emilia Wickstead coat dress. She's completed this tonal look with Emmy London 'Rebecca' pumps and the brand's 'Natasha' clutch, Jane Taylor's crepe pleated headband and Cassandra Goad 'Cavolfiore' earrings.

She's worn coat dresses on numerous occasions in the past, this one being debuted during a 2017 visit to Luxemburg. We love the belted middle that nips Kate in at the waist and the pretty pleats that finish at the knee giving it a ladylike feel.

I think Louis is a little firecracker and I can tell you from experiences, three is ten more than two.  God gave us only two hands and that should be the limit of under 5s in any household. And I know they have nannies, but Kate, understandably, wants to be in control on those strolls and not losing it to the four-year-old with the cheeky grin and mischievous eyes. He's probably everybody's favorite and still much too unpredictable for the front page of tabloids around the world.
