I didn't understand how his wife accidentally announced his death, but either way, RIP. Seems like he was a nice guy who wasn't too horribly haunted by being a child star.

My guess is that his wife/family and/or his management team had prepared an announcement because it was clear he was going to die soon, but someone screwed up and put it up on the Facebook page before they were supposed to.

That does make sense. It feels crappy to me that they kind of put the blame on her, though. Even if she did post it herself to facebook, I wouldn't put it on her. The wife did understandably seem distraught.  |
