I was on APS too but wasn't posting much, mostly due to language barrier. Improved my English skillz mostly because of you guys. Probably because I married an English guy as well, but I'd like to think it was you and GR in general.
I remember alice and think some are still in contact with her?
Buttmunch went AWOL as well as southernbelle. So are chilly willy and stef, also karistonia. They are still (more or less) active on FB. Effie didn't post for a while either.
There was an awful racist woman that posted a lot about her birds. I don't think she posted anything bad on the board but we found her on another board as far as I remember and then she got banned. What an awful person that was.
Does anyone remember that one poster, caramel something?

I went from Awful Plastic Surgery~~~> to Saving Face~~~> to GR. And now here. SVZ handed over custody of us to deadbeat board daddy. Grimm ran off with his twu wuv to be be a minivan driving soccer mom. Betches. Grimm was savage, I miss that bitch XD |

I was on APS but found it towards the end of the board and went to GR. I remember the APS demise kinda split between SF and GR, and then there was a minor SF exodus to GR. It's kind of crazy how that APS board really spawned a community that just kinda keeps moving across the internet together.

I lurked on APS and joined GR. I remember some woman... can't remember is it was APS or GR who went off the rails and said she was going to quit the board and spent an entire afternoon dramatically telling everyone she was quitting. It was soooooo weird...and hilarious.
No one cared she was leaving and she kept coming back and posting like a toddler having a tantrum.

Oh the crazy bird lady, I can't remember her name but she also talked about how she and her boyfriend always shoplifted beer from the grocery store by just walking out with it on the bottom of their grocery cart. I think she came back with a couple different nics after she was banned, but always got busted eventually. Kinda like Pacific Breeze, who just couldn't quit the board after being banned. |

Yep, meeeeee. I joined GR in 2005, I think. Anyone remember gatorlady and disruptive hair? I also jointed GR in 2005. I remember disruptive hair! Not sure if I remember gatorlady. Kind of sounds familiar. |

I think I officially joined GR back in 2007 but I lurked for quite a while before that. I think I found it through Pink is the new Blog back in the day. I think I stopped reading that and started up at the old site.
I remember a lot of the people you're all referring to and yeah, there were some definite implosions. I've also spotted some of my old posts and they haven't aged well. Glad I've been able to grow and learn.
