I've called and left a message for my Rep and Senators this afternoon. I only got a human being in the Rep's office, but I left messages for all three demanding they moving on packing the Supreme Court.
And I’m sure the useless democrats will be using this to drum up votes in November but why ask for my fucking vote when you’re not going to do shit with it anyway? We need more than two parties.

I've called and left a message for my Rep and Senators this afternoon. I only got a human being in the Rep's office, but I left messages for all three demanding they moving on packing the Supreme Court. And I’m sure the useless democrats will be using this to drum up votes in November but why ask for my fucking vote when you’re not going to do shit with it anyway? We need more than two parties. AFAIK it would take a dem majority in both houses to expand the scotus and since the rumplicans are the senate majority it won’t be done. Hopefully I am wrong though. |

^^ the senate needs to vote to eliminate the filibuster and since the senate has a repug majority (because manchinema already said they’d vote against it and both are DINOs) they’ll never vote to do that.

Terrible day. I want to punch all the pro-lifers on television talking about how the babies will be taken care of. These assclowns are against food stamps, free school lunches, universal health care, affordable housing, childcare, etc. These are the same psychos that don't care about children being gunned down in schools. Taken care of, my ass.
I was talking to a woman I know who was angry about Roe v Wade being overturned but doesn't believe they will come after contraception even though Clarence Thomas laid it right out there. I fear people will never learn.

I'm beyond mad. Fuck Clarence Thomas and Mitch McConnell. I was raging about Mitch earlier today. He started this whole thing by holding up Obama's SC nominee. Trump got to put 3 justices on the court. The worst president in the history of the US and he has shaped the court for decades. Absolutely disgusting. I can't get over how the majority of people are being ruled my the minority of people who want to strip rights from anyone who isn't white, male, straight and Christian. Thankful I live in a blue state but appalled at the state of our country. |
