^^^^ i added it to my list the other day because it looked interesting. is it good or just depressing?
i've been watching a bit of 'what we do in the shadows' but i've decided it's best spaced out, like a palate cleanser between shows or a pick me up when i'm watching something that's too intense or heavy. this past week i watched the new seasons of young wallander which is great if you like dark moody european crime shows, and the seasons are only 6 episodes each.
and then a few days ago after wallander i was looking for something to watch while i folded laundry and i ended up watching 'felicity' which i never watched the first time round except for a few episodes here and there. it's really good! at least the beginning, i don't know how the other seasons hold up but it's really good and kind of ahead of its time.

Felicity is such a great show! And it has a great cast - Scott Foley!! <3
I did a rewatch of it a couple years ago (I watched it when it was airing as a kid) and it really did hold up.

@sput - secrets of playboy is pretty good. it is docu-style and comprises a lot of interviews from bunnies, centerfolds, and staff. if what they say is true, hugh hefner was pretty evil. and i discount a lot of holly madison's claims but i think the others' stories (especially the older women who were part of playboy enterprises in the 60s and 70s were true. watch and please share your thoughts.

New season coming in a few days! Woo-hoo! Thank you for letting me know. Started watching The Dropout on Hulu. Really enjoying it! Amanda Seyfried is nailing Elizabeth Holmes.

Felicity is such a comfort show for me, there's something about the lighting and the sets and even her voice that is just so cozy!
What We Do in the Shadows is next on my list but I'm wondering if I should watch the movie first?

you don't have to watch the movie to understand the show because it's not the same characters or place, just the same premise. but i would still recommend watching the movie before to get a sense of the original concept and humour and also because it's fucking amazing and jemaine clement and taika waititi are one of my favourite comedy pairings of all time.
totally agree about felicity i think subconsciously i was craving comforting nostalgia because i had never even thought about streaming felicity until now. it aired from 1998-2002 and 1998 is the year i graduated high school and started uni and we all still thought the world was only going to get better, not worse, the way it had been since my childhood and the end of the cold war. little did we know lol

Tulip, have you seen The Last Kingdom? Yes I have! OMG I hated that show XD he characters are so inconsistent it's disturbing someone with more than 2 brain cells wrote this. At some point, is Utrecht son of Utrecht norse or saxon, make up your fucking mind! And does Alfred consider him norse or saxon? I just couldn't with people weathercocking every 2 episodes

^^^ Good to know because I thought my confusion was down to my memory issues, lol!
I still liked it, though. Utrecht, whether Norse or Saxon, is my jam.

The show would be a lot less interesting were it not for Uhtred's confused and divided loyalties.
