That dress is so small and so tight that it looks like she's busting out of it at the waist (which I didn't even realize was a cutout at first).  Even the leather bodice is bunching up.  It's a wonder she could breathe.

Is she crying over an MTV award? Really?

For the first time ever I think she actually looks her age in the face in quite a few of these photos, but this is all around awful. Surely she gets her love handles sucked out and smoothed but here you can see them popping out of the sides, not a good look for anyone.

She is so desperate, it's embarrassing. And I agree re. the crying over a freaking mtv award. This is as bad as Sally Fields' “I can't deny the fact that you like me. Right now, you like me.” At least hers was an Oscar.

Yeah, I've seen a few places where people are making fun of her over crying over winning a Golden Popcorn. It's a Generation Award which is one step away from being a participation award in my oh so humble opinion.  There is a whole list of people who have received them in the past and they are as hip, cool, and cutting edge as you can imagine:

Thanks to Jennifer Lopez, we all know that love don't cost a thing. But what's the price for awards that celebrate generational talents? If you happen to be J.Lo, your decades of superstar status have got that covered for you.

As proof, the global icon will receive the Generation Award at this year's MTV Movie & TV Awards airing June 5. As MTV puts it, the award "celebrates beloved actors whose diverse contributions to both film and television have turned them into household names." Last year's recipient was Scarlett Johansson — who got slimed during her acceptance (?) — and past luminaries to receive it include Dwayne Johnson, Will Smith, Reese Witherspoon, Tom Cruise, and more.

For some reason this article, which I found at mtv.com, is crediting itself ("as MTV puts it") which is par for the course for an irrelevant channel giving out frivolous awards no one remembers even exist.  I always think this is the awards where people win surfboards, but it's not. I guess.

I know it's JLo but come on - LOOK at her. She's in her mid-50s and looks like that?! It's amazing. I do hate the extensions but it goes with her overall aesthetic I guess.
