The prosthetic nose is fucking ridiculous. I’m not saying only jewish actors can play Jews but if you have to use a fake nose that should tell you maybe you’re not casting the right actor. I can think of a hundred actors with schnozzes who are just as talented as Bradley, or more.

I'd have no idea this was Bradley in the first 2 photos! "Netflix has released the first photos from the set of the upcoming movie Maestro, which stars Bradley Cooper as the legendary composer Leonard Bernstein" Me neither! Those prosthetics are pretty damn good (and the less you can see of his real face is always better, lol). The arms and hands are realistic, too. Great job, Oscar for the make-up artist.

It's real, damnit, and I'm just trying to get through the day, like everyone else!

........And the original Bernstein always gave me that 'sexy older man' vibe! Yummy!

I'd be very interested to see if Bradley can capture Lenny's essence. That's a tall order with his larger than life personality, talent and intellect. He has to get the voice right too. They always try to capture an icon - Marilyn, Elvis, Diana, Liz Taylor, Ali, Jackie O. Some did good with FDR, JFK and Churchill. The older makeup is remarkable. It was designed by the man who did Bombshell where he made Charlize really look like Megan Kelly.

We all watched him on TV back in the day. He was fascinating and I loved his crazy fun conducting.

Yeah, back in the days when parents wanted to expose their children to culture -- and there wasn't much else to watch on TV except baseball and westerns! Three networks, so our choices were limited. But now that we have enough networks that they could have a network offering orchestral music, ballet, opera, theater, etc., instead they are making biopics about Timothy Dahmer. SMH
