I think I was only vaguely aware of this show. I fell asleep on the couch last night, and when I woke up this morning, I turned on the TV to see what was on before I went back upstairs. I was kind of in shock with what I was seeing - it was pretty graphic and disturbing. But I'm probably going to start watching it from the beginning since it's only on Season 2.
It's a Spanish production and set in Spain. I think what happens is that a priest who is a retired exorcist settles in at this sleepy town. But somehow, someone there is in possession of one of the 30 coins that Judas accepted for betraying Jesus, so there is some huge demonic curse on them. And this is also tied into some kind of secret cabal of Rome-linked devil worshippers or something. Also, the two leads - Megan Montaner and Miguel Angel Silvestre - are really easy to look at, LOL.
