What is with the two sets of appliqué? The short jacket and long skirt are giving her Modigliani proportions. I think these two shop from the same old lady catalog.

I dodn't think that Anne looks frumpy. For her, this is really good. I'd never guess that these two have a 31 years old age gap from the clothes they wear.

Kate's outfit would look so much better with a shorter hemline, it looks frumpy, is off balance with the jacket and ruins the whole look. Anne isn't a fashion plate by any means but even she has figured that out and also can't be bothered carrying a silly little clutch purse like Kate.

Forcing Kate's waistline higher by several inches does not help the proportions of that suit. I do like the swirly hem though.

I hate Kate's dress, and I'm especially hating on the pearl pendant. No idea why is triggering me, but it's ugly AF and I want to smack her for wearing it. The Princess Royal looks good.

I hate Kate's outfit! That jacket/blazer is awful. Between the belt, the flaps (IDK what they're really called) & the appliques that look like pineapples, it is way too much going on, especially considering it's short. The color is bland as hell too. The skirt looks like it's from the St. Angie Collection.
