I think I joined in 2002 or so. Seems like my snowflake was 4 and he’s 23 now. We’ve watched each other have kids, raise them, send em to college. There've been marriages, divorces, deaths. All the while watching the world go mad but still finding time to talk mad shit about celebs. What a world!

I joined in 2008. I don't remember any specific topic, but I do remember that I was sick of another board that I was on, and not long after I found GR, I stopped visiting the other board.

I came from a board called Saving Face (post Awful Plastic Surgery). Lots of GR folks are old SF refugees. I started coming to GR before SF imploded, liked it a whole lot better, thus by the time SF went kaput I gave zero fucks. Dark Jr was just a little kid and I was still married to Mr D. when I started posting alongside some of y'all betches.
But yeah, my join date listed for GR is Oct 2005.

I was 2005 on GR, came from APS. It's amazing how long some of us have been posting together. When I started on GR I was still in college, I've been through 2 careers, a whole 6 year relationship, and then meeting my husband 11 years ago.....good lord, basically grew up posting here.
