I love seeing these! Some are beautiful and appropriate, some are waaaaay over the top and tacky (in the best way), some just scream "didn't understand the assignment."

I really liked Cambodia and also Thailand. I'm not sure really what to call that style - but it always just reminds me of The King and I which I was so mesmerized by as a child.
I love the over the top, bright feathery ones too. It's hard to pick a favorite, most of them really are quite impressive pieces of art.
I did LOL at Aruba's electronic marquee sign - so tacky lol I'm also not sure why Great Britain looks like she crawled out of a swamp? And Miss USA is a let down.

All the costumes are spectacular ... and then there's France "let's just use the flag as a skirt and call it a day"

USA is just embarrassing. Very unoriginal and THE TEEFS!!! On the bright side, it made me feel better about Miss Great Britain looking like she got the pity role of a tree in a school play. |
