Yeah that is annoying lol!! I am currently banned on Facebook for being mean to someone. I just got out of FB jail. I wasn't even mean to anyone. I was joking around with my friend! FB takes themselves too seriously. I sometimes do wordle. Same thing happened to me. I made what was an obvious joke, which my friends found funny but Fuckbook didn’t. So stupid. I love that their stock is (don’t know if it still is) taking a beating. They’re censoring themselves into the ground |

I haven't hopped on the wordle craze, and don't get me wrong it might be great, but I have to say I'm annoyed with all these people posting their wordles on facebook because 1. no one can tell what the words were, it's just a bunch of little colored dots, and 2. who gives a rats ass, yay you, keep it to yourself.  You said exactly what I was thinking. I don't exactly have a massive friend list on FB but even so, the number of people posting their Wordle every day is getting stupid. It's ramping up to be as annoying as the days when everyone was sharing scores/looking for boosts/begging for crap for their Mafia Wars and Farmville bollocks. |

Lots of great suggestions I will look into! I downloaded a knock off wordle game that is so relaxing, because you can play one after the other, and your guesses do not have to be words. I like games that are relaxing I cannot do anything timed or very competitive, I get too anxious!!

I usually start with STARE and then go to CLOUD because I knock out 4 vowels and most of the common letters. That said, yesterday I didn't solve it at all, I hope you did, Lindsay.
I don't post my scores to FB because it's annoying. But, I have a discord channel w/ my fam and we put it in there and I have a married friend couple who likes to do it so we occasionally text or scores. The thing is, we are all doing it so when someone posts it's not annoying and there are a total of 5 of us not my whole FB friends list

i also love spelling bee. i'm a sucker for any word game. i follow a writer who posts screenshots of rejected guesses in Spelling Bee to her story, they're pretty funny sometimes.

I got a Wordle on the first word! I switch around my first word now and popped in LEAST to start with and it was solved! It made me happy even though it was totally random and indicative of no skill or intelligence on my part, lol.
After the NYT wordle, I do the daily on another site that you can keep playing, so I use the word I just finished as the first word, and see how many times I can keep Wordle going.

i did that once, when the word was 'their'. i switch my first word around all the time, try to find ones with lots of vowels. it was freaky and kind of made my morning but yeah it's pure dumb luck. now getting it in two? that makes my whole day.

Today in my "not the NYT Wordle" Wordle ( wordplay.com/daily) the answer was a word I didn't know, but am embarrassed I didn't know - T.I.L.D.E. No doubt the majority of you with multiple languages under your belt know this word but for anyone who does not here is Google's definition: til·de/ˈtildə/ nounan accent (~) placed over Spanish n when pronounced ny (as in señor ) or Portuguese a or o when nasalized (as in São Paulo ), or over a vowel in phonetic transcription, indicating nasalization. the tilde symbol as a part of a URL. a symbol similar to a tilde used in mathematics to indicate similarity, and in logic to indicate negation. You know what irks me even more than not knowing this word, even though I had a year or two of Spanish? That my brain immediately went to wondering if Hilaria knew it. I do not want this stupid woman taking up so much of my head space, because THAT'S embarrassing.  |
