If you're a pale person with redness (raises hand), Erborian makes a redness CC cream that is a miracle worker. It blends in perfectly to your skin, with no weird cast, and takes away redness like magic. I LURVE it. I pretty much gave up wearing foundation completely, just an occasion dab for more coverage, or just concealer. It has SPF 25 too!! Hi Manx - I’m really interested in this - do you know if it’s the “CC RED CORRECT” or one of the other products please? I recently splurged & ordered some PETER THOMAS ROTH INSTANT FIRMX EYE I’d seen an ad & thought “no way” but getting it from a £-back place if not happy. I used it yesterday for the first time in the house & thought “yeah ok” I washed it off & popped a touch more on under my make up before I went out & I’m very impressed. I have puffy upper eyes & would certainly have ps if I could find somewhere & afford it. This will do in the mean time. Novice, I'm curious about your experience with the firmx eye. My questions: you said you used it above your eye; did it affect your eyeshadow at all (if you were wearing it) and did you try it below your eyes at all and if so, did it affect that makeup much? And how long did the firming effect last for you? Thanks in advance!!

I tried Dr. Jart's Tiger Grass redness balm and it's just not as good -- oilier, thinner, and leaves a whitish cast.

I tried Dr. Jart's Tiger Grass redness balm and it's just not as good -- oilier, thinner, and leaves a whitish cast. Thank you so much. It’s payday tomorrow so it’s perfect timing for me to get some. Sorry I didn’t see this before. The instructions say to use a small amount (I used half a pea) and I used a brush to put it on the bit of my eye above my eye lid (it does say avoid the eye lid). I used it once to try it in the morning, then mid-afternoon had a shower, washed my face & popped another small amount on. I frequently don’t wear make up but I used a powder shadow over it - not that you could see it. I was SHOCKED by the results. But I had bought it with a money-back guarantee. It lasted all evening & maybe a short while after I had cleaned my face. I used a tiny left over bit on other bits of my face but couldn’t tell you if that worked. I got it specifically for my puffy eyes & it was worth it for me. I don’t know how it will be for you by I’m happy. Hope this helps?

I am excited to see how it works for you. I really wanted a minimal effect and it gives me what I need. ETA: I ordered The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% 30ml Erborian CC Red Correct - Colour Correcting Anti-Redness Cream With Soothing Effect SPF25 Travel Size 15ml and Erborian The Gift of Perfect Bare Skin Exclusive Which has Red Pepper Pulp 20ml and Skin Hero 15ml but I have been completely sidetracked with The Ordinary Azelaic Acid - I tried it this morning & also put a bit on my scalp where I’ve had big sore patches. I’ve just washed my face & popped some more on & I am IN LOVE!!!
