This explains this new push to market himself as 'love' ugh and giving back the masters to a lot of his artists (plus NDAs). I agree this is the tip of the iceberg and I bet more is coming. This is like Weinstein but a lot worse which is saying something.

I remember being in the STH of France and it is reported he held a white party and was a big deal and the women weren’t allowed on his yacht unless they had extreme bikini waxes. nypost.com/2002/08/29/puffys-rules-worlds-strictest-dress-code-for-greatest-party-of-all-time/There were also photos of him with minions holding umbrellas up for him when he got off his boats. He was infamous for spending the summer cruising the Mediterranean and throwing lavish parties with a swarm of celebs desperate for an invitation and the rumours were the parties were where anything goes and he would throw his money around with the French and English considered him to be gauche and tres nouveau riche! I tried to paste them but was unable to but if you Google it they are there for all to see. He really is something else- I read on other boards that say he has a deadly disease and Cassie is only the beginning of his very long list of women who have experienced his perversions. It is also timely that he is giving the original recording rights back to people- I guess he’s tidying house before more comes out about him. |

If that was his reputation, why were so many women willing to be abused by him? Were they just ambitious like J-Lo? Or did they stay for the lifestyle? I can't imagine EVER staying with a man who hit me.

I guess he managed to manipulate them into thinking the "other women" were liars, who tried to get money by slandering him. Unfortunately we also live in societies that are very, very quick to think women are lying, and are after a man's money, and very quick to dismiss their accusations. It makes me boil with rage everytime a woman in France accuses a famous man of assaulting her, that people are all over the internet claiming "she must want money", when in France, you don't even get financial compensation after a trial!!!! THEY DO NOT GET MONEY and STILL people will claim that they're lying to get that poor, poor, poor innocent man's fortune.
I fear it wasn't even that hard for him to play the nice guy just enough to have them locked in, convince them that none of what they heard was true, and then keep them in an infinite loop of abuse.

women are conditioned to view other women as competition and to assume the worst of them, which in turn makes it easier for cycles of abuse to be perpetuated. just think how many times you've heard women repeat that their bf/husband's ex was 'crazy' when they never even met her, or stopping to think there might be a reason for the 'crazy' behaviour...

Given the situation it's not popular to say it but she would have been aware of his behavior before they got together. He was already in another relationship when he and Cassie got together and abusing that gf too. Cassie was sleeping with a different older man at the time and moved on to Sean because he had more money and could maybe make her career take off. She may have thought he would be different with her but he's really just evil. Misa, Kim, Jennifer, etc have all been treated the same. Sienna wasn't but he couldn't get away with behaving towards her like he did to non-white women. Kim wanted to be a kept woman so she was never going to stop dealing with him. Jennifer left. Cassie eventually left. |

Also in giving back the original rights to his artist’s music they also received NDA’s as part of the deal so I’m no detective but it smells like one hellova a potent payoff.
