This whole thing seems strategic and disingenuous to me.
I understand people can separate and still live together, but this seems like a convenient retroactive announcement, given other things they've talked about and announced since 2016.

I'm sitting here in germany and even I can't think of anything this woman hasn't shared. Her oversharing is rooted in a real hard case of narcissism - she really believes she is the most special, interesting and fabulous person in the world, when she's nothing but annoying.

We have known a surprising number of people who have separated - sometimes for decades - and lived apart, but not legally divorced. My aunt and uncle. Separated since 2001. ... Niece??? |

My sister's inlaws separated in 1986... if you were to see them together you would never know they aren't still a couple. It's an interesting situation, including him paying "child support" to her for 2 whole ass adults with nearly grown children of their own.

Like people who get divorced to deal with catastrophic medical debt. But merely separating would not help with that. |

Each owned inherited property outside of the marriage. She just brow beat him into giving her spousal support, child support and other monies far beyond what he legally was required and much longer than as well. My BIL is 49, his dad passed last year and literally was paying child support for him and his 51 year old sister until that last day. |
