it's also weird that he was so meticulous in his work at an architectural firm, and apparently did well and yet his house was a dilapidated mess. you'd think someone in his line of work would at least have a nice house? 'en casa de herrero, cuchillo de palo' lol

Has anyone watched Lost Girls? I watched it recently because of its relation to this case and was wondering if they ever found who killed Shannan Gilbert? That Dr. who ran the "wayward girls" house? Didn't he own the property and marsh where her body was found? I wrongly assumed that her murder was by the LISK also.

If you go to the link there are pics of the house all torn up and boxed up from the police search.

I feel so bad for her and the kids. How is she supposed to get her house back in order? Sad story all around.

I saw some online posts saying she is totally tone-deaf for whining about her messy house when 4 women are dead.
I do feel bad for her too, assuming she has no involvement, but I doubt the police give a shit, and I don't think she should hold her breath waiting for a clean up crew to show up.
It sucks that they hauled away all of the mattresses and couches so they don't even have anywhere to sleep but the floor I guess.

^^^ I think it's perfectly valid for her to feel the way she feels, and I feel bad for her as well. I really hate that kind of petty bullshit thinking though, it's so judgy and moralistic and pointless. this idea that people aren't allowed to be upset because someone else has it worse. She's not responsible for those murders just because she's married to the guy, and sure she wasn't one of his victims but finding out your spouse is a goddamn serial killer is fucking traumatic, and then having the police come and tear up your home is a huge violation. She has every right to feel the way she feels.

Jane Doe #7 has finally been identified. Her name was Karen Vergata and she was 34 when she disappeared in 1996. Her legs and skull were found in two different locations. Her torso has never been recovered.

I heard an interview with Kerri Rawson (Dennis Raider's daughter - specifically not using his moniker as she said the media rairly uses her name when writing about her) and she was very eloquent about how they knew nothing about his "other life".

I mean they cut into her bathtub ffs, I think she has every right to be upset. Totally agree with what Sput said, this "my pain is worse than yours because it's mine" mentality is obnoxious.
There's a killer that Bailey Sarian covered, and I don't remember who it was - I can figure it out if someone is interested, but he basically had a chop house in his garage that his wife had no clue about. She was told to not go in it and she complied with his request, at one point a woman was dead in the garage for a week or something when they were away on vacation.

If my husband had given me this instruction when we still lived together I would have hired a locksmith within the hour.

I rarely venture in there out of choice but if he deliberately told me to stay out of there without a reasonable explanation I wouldn't even bother waiting for a locksmith - I'd be full Jack Nicholson on that shit.

I wonder if his wife starting to visit him and the new searches are connected? Maybe he's started giving details to her?
