^^^^ why is she living in a motel though, and why was she renting before that? i'm sure candy has a huge real estate portfolio and has to have at least one house that tori and the kids could move into. Optics? Or maybe she's making a new TV reality show? Me & my mould? I bet it could grow on people.... If she had renter’s insurance they may be paying for a hotel while mold is remediated at the rental or until she finds suitable long term accommodations. Both buying and renting is crazy in the States right now. Would this be the case if she knew that the house was mouldy/hazardous to health prior to moving in. I don’t think they knew in advance. Sounds like they had a mold inspection done when everyone was repeatedly sick for a couple years. Probably at the recommendation of their health care team. Mold is often insidious and not in areas one can see easily or at all. Often it’s inside the walls and not on the surface but still releases toxins into the environment.

Since neither of these two are exactly geniuses, I wonder how long those poor kids had to be around that mold?

Yep I just got the impression that she knew before. "The daughter of late TV producer Aaron Spelling said her son Finn had a fever that hit 103 and was dealing with strep throat as result of the mold-related infection. 'We now know that when the house was labeled a health hazard and not live able that wording was FACT,' she said. 'We now GET IT! It’s hard to just uproot a huge family especially in midst of all feeling so sick and in bed. But, we now will vacate the home asap.'

well, to be fair, that doesn't indicate if she knew about the mold prior to moving in.
mold remediation can be difficult and sometimes it is hard for landlords to own up to it. but i can't believe that 100/day (which is pretty cheap) would be cheaper than some ranch in the valley. which likely an insurance company would spring for. *if* she had a renter's policy that covered mold.

I got the impression that she knew before as well (can't remember what thread...it might even be this one, but I'm too lazy to search). But this phrasing of: "We now know that when the house was labeled a health hazard and not live able that wording was FACT,' she said. 'We now GET IT!" sure sounds like she knew ahead of time. You would think she would have an attorney or agent that would've explained the ramifications to her beforehand (or maybe they did, & ignored it, who knows).

Yeah, lots of people do this and call it vacation.
I was going to grouse about the intrusive tabloids but then remembered this is how Tori makes a living.

I was about to say...could this just be a fucking vacation? I mean, since when has she ever let being broke and in debt stop her from living like person with at least a comfortable amount of money?

Well, whoever rented the RV to her is nuts.
And I'm sure the paps were just cruising around an RV park and said "Look! It's Tori Spelling!"
Are they planning to move back into mold house once it's been remediated? If not, they should be looking for a new place.
These pics might be for Candy, so she can see how her poor grandchildren are living.

I think these photos have several target audiences: a) Candy, so she'll get embarrassed that she has her grandkids living in squalor b) Dean, so he'll look like a deadbeat dad who left Tori with the kids in a trailer park and isn't providing for his family c) Casting agents who think this sounds like a great premise for a reality TV show.

I was on TS IG today & even her fans were saying that Candy bought them a house & they sold it! & That although Candy pays for certain things (like healthcare, schooling, food etc for the kids & them) she won't pay TA's outstanding debits from her out of control spending habits.

guys - just for the record, an RV (and this looks like a nice one) is not cheap to rent! maybe more than the fleabag hotel they were staying in. and clearly tori alerted the paps. that's the part i think is sad.

That's what I was thinking when I first saw the pictures. That and it looked like a pretty cool way to spend a summer. Maybe she can get together with LeAnn Rimes and her mate Lizzy so they can all RV together and compare terrible tittyjobs.

Candy Spelling found a house for daughter, grandkids — but Tori turned it down: insider By Nicki Gostin August 3, 2023 4:50pm Candy Spelling found her daughter, Tori Spelling, a place to live with her grandchildren — but the actress refused to move in, Page Six has exclusively learned. Following backlash for allegedly ignoring her daughter’s financial problems and unstable home situation, a source claims to Page Six that the author did try to help. “Candy spent hours on the phone trying to find ,” the source tells us.
However, Tori declined to move in because, according to the insider, she “wanted to live in a certain place.”
“[It] is fine, they should live where they want to live,” the source adds.
According to a new report, the “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum has been “struggling monetarily” after her husband, Dean McDermott, announced in a since-deleted Instagram statement that they were ending their 17-year marriage.
Since then, Tori has been photographed in various living situations, including staying at a $100-a-night budget motel with her kids — Liam, 16, Stella, 15, Hattie, 11, Finn, 10, and Beau, 6 — in early July.
Most recently, the family — sans McDermott — was photographed living in an RV. Tori Spelling and her kids.Tori is currently living in an RV at a campground.

Following the photographs, the socialite was slammed as “selfish” and “shameful” for seemingly ignoring her daughter’s financial crisis.
But the source stresses that the situation is “more complicated” than meets the eye.
“One of the problems is Tori doesn’t speak to anyone on the phone,” the insider complains. “And Tori is trying to make Candy look like the bad guy.
“[Candy] found her a house, that’s the last I heard.”
The source adds that Candy had paid the rent on Tori’s previous house, which the actress was forced to move out of due to a severe mold problem that was making the entire family sick.
“We now know that when the house was labeled a health hazard and not live able [sic] that wording was FACT,” Tori wrote via Instagram in May. “We now GET IT! It’s hard to just uproot a huge family especially in midst of all feeling so sick and in bed. But, we now will vacate the home asap.”
Meanwhile, Candi and Tori have always had a fractured relationship.
In fact, Candy even accused Tori of hastening her husband, producer Aaron Spelling’s death in 2006.
“My daughter one day decided that she wasn’t speaking to my husband, myself and my son, and that’s how it’s continued for the last, oh gosh, four or five years,” Candy told 94.7 WMAS-FM’s Kellogg Krew in 2009.
“And it was sad. That’s what killed my husband, actually. He just didn’t want to live after that.”
The two even traded public barbs over Candy being able to see her grandchildren.
But last year, the “sTORI Telling” author shared that her relationship with her mom had dramatically improved.
“It’s like next level right now,” she said on SiriusXM’s “Jeff Lewis Live.” “I’m really really happy.”
Seemingly, they have their mutual friend “Million Dollar Listing” alum Josh Flagg to thank for helping them with the reconciliation. “I hadn’t seen her since before COVID,” Tori shared. “And then Josh was like, ‘OK, we’re gonna do a family dinner at her place.’ So we went and had a great night.”
Despite this small blip, our source confirms that Candy, 77, and Tori, 50, are currently still in contact.
“You know, [Tori] is a 50-year-old woman that’s gone through $17 million,” the source claims. “And she’s always blamed her mother for everything. She’s a 50-year-old woman. “But now for the first time in a long time, they’re speaking. So it’s not like their adversarial, they’re trying to arrest this problem. But there are so many extenuating circumstances.”
“Trust me, it’s not what it seems to be,” the source promises.
Reps for Candy and Tori did not reply for comment.
Tori Spelling freshens up in campsite’s communal bathroom as she and her kids are living in RV By Leah Bitsky August 4, 2023 4:19pm
An insider claimed that Spelling’s “financial troubles are real” and that she is “struggling monetarily.”
The source told “Entertainment Tonight” that the actress is “doing her best to make things work and take care of her kids” and are viewing their trailer park stay “as a mini vacation rather than a living situation.”
The “Chopped Canada” host added, “We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time.”
McDermott — who also shares 24-year-old son Jack with his first wife Mary Jo Eustace — was subsequently seen moving his belongings into storage, while Tori was spotted wearing a “Boys Lie” T-shirt.
A source claimed this week that McDermott is “mortified” that Tori is living in the trailer park with the kids and believes she is just doing it for “sympathy.” “They do not understand why she would be doing this unless for sympathy. She has money,” the source alleged. “Dean does not think that the kids should be living like this and of course he is angry.”
“He is furious at Tori because she is acting like a child,” the source added.
Separation rumors have been swirling since at least 2021 when they were both spotted without their wedding rings. That same year, Tori admitted that they sleep in separate bedrooms.
The pair had seemingly been working on their relationship in recent months and the breakup “came out of the blue,” sources close to the exes claimed.
After the pair called things off for good, Candy claimed she would financially support her daughter while navigating the impending divorce from McDermott.
“I love my daughter, and I support her in whatever she does,” Candy, 77, told TMZ, adding, “I support my daughter.”
