Honestly I think all of this has more to do with the conservatorship ending than the child support ending. There's no one there to supervise the visits and Kevin (and maybe also the boys) isn't comfortable with that. Can't say I blame him. As far as I can remember, he's never gone public in the past or said a bad word about her.
I know everyone assumes he will be dead broke when the support stops, but I would hope he's been socking away some of that money. No way did he need $20 to $40k/mo. to maintain that household. Especially if, as I've read, Britney covered all the boys expenses, school tuition, health insurance, and even the house they're living in.

This ^ and he was being paid because he couldn't work due to having to look after the boys at least in the early days.

I think they all need to STFU and step off social media. However... the boys are old enough to tell their father that they have concerns about being unsupervised with their mum, especially if she's not taking her medication because she (unfortunately but understandably) associates treatment with coercion.... It's just sad. For everyone. |

Britney’s Britney but did kfed really have to do that interview and pose with the kids? Questionable at best. The boys are old enough that they can’t be compelled to see her so I don’t see why they had to make any of it public. At most issue a statement through a lawyer. makes you wonder if he’s using it as a pressure tactic to get more money or something now that she’s in control is her finances again.

What he gets was decided in court. I wouldn't think her being in charge of her money would result in any sudden change in this unless she decides on her own to go against the court and stop the support and it forces him to take her to court.
The new hubby needs to try and keep his mouth all the way closed when it comes to this because we all know why he's there. I'm sure he'd love to get a baby made with her. I'm hoping for the sake of everyone (especially an as yet unconceived baby) that this doesn't happen.

Isn't recording someone without their knowledge illegal in CA? Also posting it online is a vile thing to do. Didn't her dad get in trouble for removing a door? I wonder if it was because they refused to interact with the family, as Britt complained about. Not saying that the dad was right, I just wondered if this was the reason. Yeah, wouldn't that be an amazing Mom-of-the-Year spectacle when Britney takes her two children (minors at the time) to court for recording her without her knowledge? Because the illegality is in the recording not the dissemination of it. That's why Rosengart (and the state of California) isn't going to do diddly about this. |

She is clear about control and what better way to control than through money. Same thing she alleges was done to her in some respects. I think she can cut off contact but I doubt cutting off the financials will be easy. It's pretty standard for CS cases to include college in the equation for kids over 18. So, KFed's monthly check for CS might stop but she's more than likely on the hook to continue educational expenses. |
