I agree she shouldn't be airing this in public, but "she can't even make a dinner reservation" that's cold. I was under the impression her brother was the lone decent one in the family but I guess not. She might be nuts but they're giving her good reason to be pissed off.

I would think that she couldn't drink with her meds.

^That's what I was thinking. She probably couldn't drink with her meds.
I also thought her brother was the only de facto decent one in the family since I didn't remember he existed until a week ago but I guess the podcast made him do it. I agree she shouldn't be near social media. I believe she just came out of a fucked up situation but sadly I don't think she has any way of understanding how unhinged the rants make her look even when they are true.

Jamie Spears has just gone full throttle, asking a judge to force his daughter to sit for a depo ... and it's largely over claims Britney made about him on social media. Jamie just filed legal docs, obtained by TMZ, in which his lawyer says Britney is going on a campaign to trash Jamie on Instagram and her soon-to-be-published memoir, and apparently Jamie now wants to challenge her allegations. Among the issues Jamie wants to direct at his daughter under oath ... allegations that she was forced to give 8 tubes of blood for medical treatment, was forced to participate in therapy and was not allowed to own pain-reliever meds. Among the issues Jamie wants to direct at his daughter under oath ... allegations that she was forced to give 8 tubes of blood for medical treatment, was forced to participate in therapy and was not allowed to own pain-reliever meds. Jamie is saying all of his daughter's allegations are relevant to whether he abused his role as conservator ... something Britney and her lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, have insisted happened. He goes on to say Rosengart has refused to schedule a depo, saying Jamie's effort was "another tactic to bully, harass and intimidate his daughter -- his own daughter." As we reported, Rosengart has already filed legal docs saying Jamie has dodged sitting for a depo himself ... and Rosengart has even said he'll travel to Louisiana --- where Jamie lives -- to grill the chef. www.tmz.com/2022/06/17/jamie-spears-britney-spears-deposition-demand-conservatorship-allegations/

She definitely has a case for emotional abuse, he definitely bullied and intimidated her and only let her see her own children if she performed.
But the other things like the 8 vials of blood, that seems pretty routine. The last time I went for a check-up they took at least 6 vials of my blood and I'm a normal healthy person.

But that's the thing. To someone who has only heard the word "yes" since she was what, 16, 17, 18--being told "no" equals abuse. And I bet many of those no's had good sound reasons behind them. But she can't really parse out what was controlling abuse from medical reasons or contract or financial reasons. She doesn't seem mature enough to see what might actually just be in her best interest or articulate enough to realistically convey her side.
She should let someone help her do that because I'm sure there was abuse, the conservatorship shouldn't have lasted so long.
But it looks like her dad's demand for a depo is why her IG disappeared. Her lawyers must have made her pull it.

It seems to me everything that was done to her and FOR her is twisted by her into some abuse. Perhaps there was abuse but her ranting is incoherent and frankly crazy so she's not a reliable narrator imo.
She wasn't allowed to drink? Yeah, you're on meds that can't be mixed with alcohol. You were drug tested? Um, maybe they needed to check your levels on a regular basis because they were trying to keep you healthy. 8 vials of blood? Nothing to see there.
But everything that was "done" to her was evil and part of a plot. She has no sense of reality here. Why anyone would think this low IQ, mentally ill, emotionally stunted person had complete understanding of what was happening and has the facts straight is beyond me.
And I say all of that with sympathy. I've always rooted for her. But damn everything is filtered through her mental illness and her anger.

I think both things can be true, and she’s both unstable and was the victim of abuse during a shady conservatorship that lasted way too long and gave her dysfunctional, greedy asshole family far too much control over her.

She needed and still needs a conservatorship. It just didn't need to be her dad.
Or a guy who married her for money.

Three things I didn't know before today:
1. Bryan Spears was a co-conservator of her estate. I'm not sure for how long, though. 2. Bryan Spears' IMDB credits kind of tapered off after 2007. 3. Britney Spears has deactivated her Instagram account before - this past March. And then it came back again a little later.

Former Business Manager Lying ... They Were Knee Deep in Creating Conservatorship
Britney Spears' lawyer is calling BS on her former business manager, claiming the owner of the company lied about its involvement in the conservatorship, and THAT'S why it's objecting to forking over critical documents about its conduct.
Britney's lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, filed legal docs obtained by TMZ ... saying Tri Star Entertainment -- which he says snagged more than $18 million from the 13-year run of the conservatorship -- has lied to the judge by claiming it had no involvement in the creation of the conservatorship. Rosengart notes ... just before Jamie Spears went to court and became his daughter's temporary conservator, he borrowed a minimum of $40,000 from Tri Star, which at the time was a pretty obscure company and repped no other celebrities.
Rosengart believes the money had strings attached ... that Jamie would get the cash and Tri Star would get Britney's business. The lawyer has said in the past, this alleged quid pro quo is highly suspicious if not improper, and he wants Tri Star to produce all the documents related to the issue, but Tri Star wants a judge to block that move.
Britney's lawyer notes Tri Star's owner, Lou Taylor, has reportedly said her company had "no role whatsoever in the creation of a conservatorship for Britney Spears." Taylor's associate, Robin Greenhill, said in a sworn declaration, "At the time the conservatorship ... was established by this Court in early 2008, Tri Star had no role in Ms. Spears' affairs."
Rosengart says that's just false, pointing to an email from Lou Taylor to Jamie in January 2008, weeks before the conservatorship was established, in which she wrote, "he [attorney Andrew Wallet] and tri star will serve as co's [i.e., co-conservators] w you." Taylor wrote another email to another lawyer before the conservatorship was established, saying, "I look forward to working with you."
And, there's this ... one of Jamie's lawyers sent an email to Taylor before going to court and creating the temporary conservatorship, saying, "We have run into a problem with [the] judge selection ... the only judge who will be able to hear our case on Friday is the one drug [sic] who will not give Jamie the power to administer psychotropic drugs."
Rosengart notes, during the run of the conservatorship, Tri Star got a 5% cut of whatever Britney made, and that amounted to more than $18 million. He also says Tri Star's celebrity clientele -- which includes members of the Kardashian family and Travis Scott -- was built off the back of one Britney Spears.
And, Rosengart wants documents to determine Tri Star's role, if any, in secretly monitoring Britney's communications, including her text messages. Of course, the attorney also wants to review Tri Star's communications with Jamie Spears regarding the latter's conduct in the conservatorship.
The judge has yet to rule on whether Tri Star must ante up the docs.
Jamie Spears Denies Bugging Britney's Bedroom
7/1/2022 7:04 AM PT
Jamie Spears flatly denies bugging his daughter's bedroom ... one of the most explosive charges leveled against her former conservator.
Jamie filed a declaration, obtained by TMZ, in connection with the ongoing battle over alleged misdeeds committed during Britney Spears' 13-year conservatorship, and he said flatly, "I am informed of the allegation by Britney's counsel that a listening device or 'bug' was placed [in] her bedroom as surveillance during the Conservatorship. This allegation is false. I never conducted or authorized any surveillance of Britney's bedroom at any time, including during the conservatorship
He went on to say he was not aware of any such device that was placed in his daughter's bedroom.
The New York Times documentary about Britney's conservatorship featured Alex Vlasov, a former employee of Black Box Security ... the company Jamie hired. He claimed such a device was indeed secretly placed in her bedroom to spy ... allegedly listening to private conversations.
Britney's lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, has gone after Jamie hard, saying he violated his client's privacy and civil liberties.
Jamie and Britney each want to depose the other, and so far both sides have been unwilling to sit for depositions.

That is seriously fucked up if he bugged her bedroom. I forgot that part and I watched that documentary. And given the former security employee admitting to it, I tend to believe it's true. Jamie should be held accountable for that shit.
