OT but I thought Cameron Diaz retired years ago? Diaz is friends with Foxx. I think they have been in at least two movies together. But what I'd read was that he talked her out of retirement into doing this movie with him. And wow, that's a long time hospitalized and just becoming alert after like 10 days? Did I read that correctly? |

I just googled to see what you guys are talking about, and to me it seems like some random person said something and the media are jumping on it and sensationalizing it. I hope I'm right, and he'll be ok, and this is just some "unnamed source" talking out of their ass. Anyway, this is what I found in a yahoo article:

The lack of information and general updates have led many to theorize about Foxx's condition. One report said that Foxx's condition was dire when he entered the hospital April 12 and noted an unnamed source saying, "But he wouldn’t be in a hospital this long if he was anything close to okay. His daughter evidently posted today about how those media reports were lies. Apparently, he's been recuperating out of the hospital for weeks, and even played pickleball yesterday.
