I think the pets thing has been grossly exaggerated and became some kind of lore. I think she redeemed herself a lot when her memoir came out and everyone found out the extent of what she went through as a teen when her parents sent her to one of those awful reform schools for troubled kids (basically sexual and physical and mental abuse, torture really), and she started working to shut down all these places. She also has pretty severe ADHD. I listen to this hilarious podcast that summarized and discusses celebrity memoirs ( celebrity book club) so I didn’t read it but they covered it and it does make you look at her a lot differently. Basically her persona during her heyday was all an act, down to her voice. And she’s also grown up a lot since. I think there are far worse celebrities to save your hatred for (crisp rat is at the top of my list). Which episode? omny.fm/shows/celebrity-book-club-with-steven-lily-1/paris-blockchain-queen-hiltonbut in general, i can't recommend this podcast enough. it's so much fun and so addictive and the hosts, a gay guy and a lesbian, have been bff's in real life since they were teenagers, and they're smart, hilarious, bitchy without ever being cruel to their subjects, and they cover celebrity memoirs from the old and obscure to the new and popular. there's a two-parter on prince harry's book that's just gold, but they've also done peggy guggenheim, nate berkus, the 'my pillow' guy, etc. sometimes people i don't give a shit about but they still make it super entertaining. it's a gem of a podcast.

I looooove their bond, and that they include you in that, not rely on stupid in-jokes that no one else gets or cares about. And they're funny and snarky without being mean. So far I've only listened to Jessica Simpson, Janice Dickinson, and half of Britney, but I'm loving it.

They crack me up so much, and I’ve been working my way through the archives in between other podcasts. I’ve actually laughed out loud like a lunatic while listening to this walking in the street.
The prince harry one is great, also randomly loved the judge Judy one, val Kilmer, Werner herzog. Britney, of course. The Elliot page episode is hilarious too. Steve-o… so many good ones

leni klum looks 38, and those tits are ridiculous. the real housewife hair and make up are so dated, harsh and aging.
iris law's white pumps are infuriatingly ugly. who makes those things and why are they suddenly everywhere? she should also ditch the bleached hair.

Agree about both women.
The McConaughey/Alves family is so darn attractive.

Alec Baldwin was on daddy duty in New York City Saturday. The Departed star looked tired while waring a brown corduroy jacket and burgundy golf shirt over tan pants and black sneakers. The 66-year-old was joined by a nanny at the stoop of his building and seemed tired after his excursion, taking a moment to rest his head on the railing.
