His face looks like he tried botox and it's wearing off. Or they didn't do enough around the eyebrow muscles... And J. Lo got to his cheekbones with the bronzer. He's also had his hair colored and it doesn't quite look right. Unless he's had it colored for a movie role, he might just as well go gray. He really does look miserable. |

Jennifer Garner will probably still step in to babysit him, the same as she always does, purely for the sake of their three kids. Sadly I give him another ten years, maximum, before they lose him to drink, drugs or a mental health issue. Looking at his family history there's a lot of precedence - Two grandparents were alcoholics, with his paternal grandmother also being addicted to barbiturates before committing suicide. His father was a long time addict, his uncle was an addict who died from a self inflicted gunshot wound, his aunt had an addiction to heroin and his brother is a recovering addict. Hopefully he'll beat the odds but there's a lot stacked against him.
wow. this is so sad.
i have a family history that includes addiction and mental health issues and i try to be very aware of it to avoid making things bad for me.
it is hard but meds and working on it help a lot, i highly recommend trying to find 'good addictions' and some discipline.

I don't get that clip, what happened there? Was he saying something to her that she chided him for, or was he trying to kiss her and didn't want her makeup smudged? All I get is that the state of Bennifer is precarious, Ben particularly.

In that last clip, when I first saw it I thought he whispered something and she smacked him playfully and said you're crazy! (and something else after that), and kind of made a face at the camera like fake exasperated. And he answered her in a joking way. Then went back to his bored at the world look. Not that I think they're going to last long married, but when I played it I was expecting it to see tense, and my impression was of attempted playfulness.
I know I've mentioned this before, but i kinda think his pained, bored looks are an attempt at being a smoldering, brooding looking kinda dude 😂🤣

^^ Or maybe he actually is a pained, bored, broody looking dude.  Someone on twitter said he looked like any spouse who was dragged to their wife's work event. I kinda have to agree with that. I just think she better watch it, dragging him everywhere and constantly being in the spotlight are what killed it the first time, right? When he was with Jen Garner, I don't remember them going for posed pap shots, and showing up to the opening of an envelope if it would get them attention. I think he's naturally a much more low key guy. Obvioously, she's not. |

^^ she is definitely a narcissistic attention whore, but he already knew that. So she either wore him down until he just gave up and agreed to marry her, or he is a masochist and likes being dominated. 😄

I think his addictive behavior probably rules every aspect of his life, except professional. Dude just makes bad decisions and chooses things--substances, strippers, J.Lo--that feel good but are BAD for him. Vices.

Ah, I was about to write that I kind of sympathize because a) I have a resting grumpy face, so if I am not actually concentrating on smiling I just look like that and b) parties and social gatherings really drain my energy so I do end up unable to make myself smile.
There's plenty of pictures with friends and family where everyone looks cheerful and I look utterly miserable - when in reality I was just relaxed and a little bit tired.

Jen Garner better enjoy this break while it lasts. I got a feeling she'll eventually have to step back in. He's her kids' dad so the only way she's ever gonna be done with this is if he manages to stay married to someone else who's willing to go the whole driving-him-to-rehab nine.
