Grimes comes across as someone who thinks entirely too highly of their own intelligence and ability to be "unique" She's pretty annoying to me, but I'm a old 40 something. Maybe my kids find her music good? I'm 38 and I've always found her annoying as fuck, and extra full of shit - like she tosses a bunch of "complicated" words in everything she says, tosses a bunch of "artsy / clever" references, and to me it's the "only tree trying to hide the absence of a forest" syndrome. Also, definitely not as edgy as she thinks she is. And I listened to her music out of sheer curiosity, and that was exactly what I was expecting to be - which is not a good thing. If you want edgy and original, stick to Björk ps: for extra cunt points, I also find her beyond ugly and for some reason, her face also annoys me |
