^^ You're right, that's a lot going on. I don't know what dosages of Wegovy people are taking, but I read it was twice as potent as Ozempic, which is a once a week injection. Wonder how harmful it would be if taken more often? I have an Rx for Ozempic, for type 2 diabetes and it was working well, lowered my A1C to 5.7 and a bonus of a little weight loss. Guess what? I haven't been able to get it since December because there's a shortage and it's on back order until March. So all these celebrities looking for a quick fix weight loss are getting this drug before the people and purpose it was intended. I'm having the same issue with my Adderall. People are using it for weight loss. IDK how they're getting their Dr to prescribe it. But the past 2 months every time I go to the pharmacy they are out - actually have called 3 different ones. All say they can't get it, it's on back order, don't know when it will be available. My Dr ended switching me to a lower dose, but I take more of it to equate it to the dose I was originally prescribed. So instead of 1 20 mg tablet, I'm on 2 10 mg tablets. I wonder when I won't be able to get that because of people that don't need it are taking it? my daughter takes adderall for her adhd. her scripts have been canceled by our pharmacy delivery 3 times over the past 8 weeks. the bot said they can't stock it. i called our local pharmacy and they said there is a shortage of extended release across the country. our daughter is on quick acting so i was able to source it at a local pharmacy and transferred the script there. mental health is at an all time low so i think some meds are just not available now. best of luck to you.

not just opioids, diet pills too. she apparently dropped 40-50lbs in two months. there's no way you can do that in a healthy way. and she had some kind of plastic surgery during that same period as well. no wonder her heart gave out. That is insane! A friend's sibling had bariatric surgery and they weren't even close to losing 20-25lbs every month, even though they stuck to the strict diet and exercise plan they were given. Her body must have been in a state of near ketoacidosis while trying to fuel itself enough to keep going. Post-WLS weight loss is often predicted by the kind of surgery one had and their starting weight. I had gastric bypass and lost 74 pounds in 4 months- 28 of it in the first 3 weeks. The remaining 35 pounds took another 8-9 months to come off. I did loose 22 pounds in the 6 months leading up to surgery. The gastric sleeve is a slower loss as the stomach is larger than with GB (you can eat more), the band is almost always a failure (less than 20% of excess weight lost overall), theres the GB with a fobi band, the duoduem switch, etc. Generally, the "larger" you are the faster you lose with all the various surgeries.

Have you tried an online pharmacy? A couple years ago a lot of the insurers were really pushing Express scripts or something like that. They were delivering a 3 month supply. I never tried it but maybe that might be worth a shot. Right now, I can barely get my prescription for the preventative I take for migraines. I use Emgality once a month and the last time I refilled it, it took them almost three weeks to be able to get it. The pharmacist said there was a nationwide shortage. I know of no other use for it than migraines. Who knows. But it’s a pretty time sensitive medication, so taking it three weeks late sort of interferes with my treatment plan. Luckily, my doctor was able to give me one.

My daughter is a medical assistant for a general doctor office with 5 doctors. She said these women are calling and actually coming in to try to get Ozempic to lose weight. She said their freaking out because they can't get it. There are 1 or 2 doctors who write subscriptions for it. Fortunately, her doctor refuses to prescribe for weight loss. He tells them to eat a Mediterranean diet.
It is absurd the people who legitimately need it can't get it.

Luckily, my doctor was able to give me one. I had to have my thyroid removed in 2019 so I need my meds to live. Recently, I've been having to drive over an hour each way to find a pharmacy that has levoxyl in stock (my insurance won't pay for the other one that works for me, which is synthroid). My endocrinologist said people were having a good experience with Amazon pharmacy and tho I was hesitant to try it....guess what showed up in my mailbox today?? And cheaper than cvs. Just a suggestion if anyone is getting super frustrated.

Try Mark Cuban's online pharmacy. And it's cheaper.

it's possible but i seriously doubt through diet alone. and either way, there's no way that's healthy for a 50+ year-old woman, but at her age and her history of yo-yo weight gain and loss her i don't think she had the metabolism do it with just a low calorie diet so that means it was probably either drugs or medication.

What Charmed said about the larger you are, the faster you lose, is what stood out to me here. Even with the keto diet, this is observed. Folks who are in the 250-300+ lbs range are definitely losing 40 lbs or more in a month. Because they have so much to lose, and a lot of that is water.
But I agree that Lisa Marie didn't seem to be in that category, I don't think I'd place her at 250lbs, even at her biggest from what I've seen in photos. In her case I could see it being some sort of drugs/Rx meds like sput said, or a drastic bariatric procedure.

So apparently Darth Priscilla is trying to take away the Elvis estate from Riley.

IMO, if I were Riley, I would gladly hand most control to Priscilla. 1- estates of that kind are a fucking circus 2- she clearly knows how to generate revenue for an estate and Lisa was close to broke.
I would want clear language on what she would control and expectations and oversight but otherwise, "here you go Grandma, make us some money!"

I get that she's dedicated a large part of her life to making Graceland and Elvis' legacy a massive financial success, but the harsh truth of it is that it was never hers to begin with and she needs to let go. She was divorced from Elvis at the time of his death and was only ever a caretaker of her daughter's - and now granddaughter's - inheritance.
