BTW, cat owners, have you ever found cat trees that are not exceptionally tacky without costing your liver and your first born?
I just can't with the cat trees in those cheap fleece and paw prints everywhere, I have a grown-up living room, I don't want paw prints on my furniture XD

Etsy has lots of super pretty cat trees, in nice wood and all, but given the prices I think at some point I’ll just build one. This will undoubtedly be a chaotic process

We put the big old beaten up tree on the enclosed porch where they like to hang out, at least the small ones blend in and don’t dominate the living room. 🙄 |

My cat has her thrid?! cat tree since we have her, but she's sleeping in the middle of the sofa. She's so weird. I've never seen a cat lying and sleeping in the middle of a room either, and she does that. Just randomly on a spot on a carpet.

Ma Kitty has underfloor heating so you can often find her cat Milo flat on his back in the middle of the floor with his paws in the air lol. |

We have a boring old cat tree -- beige -- no paw prints, but pretty standard looking. It's tall and the beastie boys squished in there together every night to sleep until the bigger one simply got to big to squish in. We put it by our french doors so they can look out at the birds.
I love the ones you can make, but I just didn't have the drive to do it. I'd love to have a catio built though.
