It's nice to see Daniel Craig having fun with the Belvedere commercial. He always seemed so weighed down by the Bond role. He does look more like a Russian hitman now, but so many of those pale blue-eyed guys do have that look. Christopher Walken has it and so does Timothy Murphy, the Irishman in the Direct TV "opulence" commercials. LOL -- I'd love to see them all as a trio of Russian hitmen going up against an American/British/Australian trio. (Or maybe Karl Urban, who is from New Zealand, instead of an Australian.) Great idea! They should make it a quartet though, and add Samuli Edelmann, a Finnish actor starring in The Look of a Killer, about a former KGB agent who moves to Finland. Great mini-series, and gave me a glimpse of how little I understand about the complex relationship Russia has with its neighbors. (Does anyone have any idea why my computer keeps telling me US spellings are incorrect? I'm on US in settings, but it is still telling me that, for example, the "neighbours" in my last sentence is wrong because I spelled it without the "u".) |
