With Aubrey Plaza, Theo James, F. Murray Abraham, Jennifer Coolidge (the only holdover cast member from Season 1), and Michael Imperioli. Running themes like toxic friends, sexual addiction, sexual incompatibility, "nice guys". I missed the first half of Episode 3 and I have to wait until like midnight to catch it again....

not yet but i loved season 1 so i'll definitely watch. even if it won't be the same without armond, who was my favourite character from season 1.

I liked Armond. I kind of thought of him as a more competent version of Basil Fawlty. The replacement for Armond this season appears to be Valentina - not as charming as Armond. I think she is hiding some kind of secret.

I feel like this show resonates with me way more than last season. I feel like it is more relationship driven. Mainly because of the dynamic between Ethan and Harper and the toxic friend of Ethan's (Cameron) who is on vacation with them. Cameron's wife Daphne is kind of a mystery to me because of how she "deals" with Cameron and his behavior.
But the other plot line is between Portia and Albie. She finds him objectively attractive and a match, but feels like something is missing. Which sounds like more of a Portia problem than an Albie problem.

I wanted to see this as soon as I saw Mike White was creator/writer/director. But I have to watch Season 1 first.
I really liked the show he did with Laura Dern, Enlightened. He's got an interesting resume.

I just wanted to mention that, as far as I know, there is no relationship whatsoever between White Lotus seasons 1 and 2, except for Jennifer Coolidge's wacky character.

Poor Albie, he tried to be respectful but even when Portia kissed him back, she was eyeing off that dude in the pool. I really want to know what's going on with the 2 couples, but if last season is anything to go by, it's going to be fucked up. Last episode it seemed like Cameron was desperate for Ethan to let him control his money, but I'm sure it's more than that. And the "spontaneous" sleepover in Noto seemed planned to me. Then after what happened with the guys back at the hotel, I'm wondering if blackmail will be involved. Whatever's going on, I'm hooked - again.

Well, Season 2 just ended - with Episode 7. I have to admit, the Jennifer Coolidge subplot was the most dramatic in terms of action - and it makes me want to go back and pay a lot more attention to what was going on between her and Greg in Season 1. The Ethan/Harper, Cameron/Daphne thing was pretty wild, and I liked the way it wrapped up. It's too bad Sputnik is too far behind to get her reaction.

Love this show. I'm all caught up with it now. I don't even know what to say about that finale! I did work out what those guys were up to but I didn't expect that ending!

The best part was after Tania's big scene, all she could screech was "Is Greg having an affair?" as blood poured from the guy's mouth. I laughed so hard, classic Tania.

The best part was after Tania's big scene, all she could screech was "Is Greg having an affair?" as blood poured from the guy's mouth. I laughed so hard, classic Tania. One of the great things about her is her just blurting out random stuff. I remember when she was warning Portia about the party boy (Jack) who she was drawn to more than Albie. That scene between Portia and Jack at the airport was awesome because I did not know what was going to happen next. I think I'm basically an Albie, so I knew there was still a chance with him and Portia. I also love this new generation of actors like Haley Lu Richardson, Florence Pugh, Emilia Clarke and Chloe Moretz with beautiful faces and non-anorexic bodies. That guy playing Quentin, Tom Hollander, was really good. Cultured and friendly, but insincere and you just know that he has some kind of ulterior motive. I loved the whole thing with the two couples, and great performances from Will Sharpe and Aubrey Plaza as Ethan and Harper. Dead bedrooms, trickle truthing, jealousy, and coping mechanisms. I cannot tell you how many times I have read about similar situations on Reddit r\relationships, r\trueoffmychest, r\amitheasshole. Big crush on Christina Impacciatore. Beautiful. Tough but vulnerable.

Big crush on Christina Impacciatore. *Sabrina. The biggest revelation of the episode IMO was how great her butt is. And she's 54! I'm glad she got a kind of happy ending, she was so highly strung throughout the series that I thought for sure she was going to snap, but it was cute in the finale how she welcomed Rocco back and got excited about hitting the gay bars with the 2 hookers.
