James Corden banned from NY restaurant for 'abusing' staff

Corden shot a conspiratorial glance across his own table to a New York Times reporter he was dining with and quietly said: “Happens every day. It’s happening in 55,000 restaurants as we speak. It’s always about eggs.”

More archly, he added, “Can you imagine now, if we just blasted her on Twitter? Would that be fair? This is my point. It’s insane.”

What's not fair is to compare a customer who complained about their eggs - ONCE - to someone who has been accused of a long-term pattern of abuse of multiple staff members.  It's "INSANE"!

“I haven’t done anything wrong, on any level,” he said. “So why would I ever cancel this? I was there. I get it. I feel so Zen about the whole thing. Because I think it’s so silly. I just think it’s beneath all of us. It’s beneath you. It’s certainly beneath your publication.”

I mean, why don't you just paint a sign on yourself that says, "Yes, I did that!"  To actually pull the "It's certainly beneath your publication." thing.  I bet what happened is that this tool threatened to sue the other guy and they reached a private agreement that this incident was just a little overblown with nobody taking responsibility for their behavior.

If you are allergic to chicken eggs, your doctor may recommend you also avoid eggs from other domestic animals. Eggs from birds such as ducks, geese, turkeys and quails can cause a cross-reaction.

Egg is one of the eight major allergens that must be listed in plain language on packaged foods sold in the U.S., as required by federal law, either within the ingredient list or in a separate “Contains” statement on the package. This makes it easy to see if egg is present in a food item.

So either he is lying or someone is stupid or over-previledge by ordering only egg yolks instead of something else or a vegan egg.

The egg proteins are what cause the allergic reaction. These proteins are present in both the white and the yolk. James Corden was lying, as usual. He's still banned from one of my local pubs for his rude behaviour towards the servers, whilst filming the biopic of Paul Potts, about 8-9 years ago. He's an arrogant tw@t!

Google tells me that it IS possible to be allergic to egg whites only. It's something I've never heard of, I know some restaurants serve egg white omelettes but I've never heard of egg yolk only. (The reason yolks, fear that they caused cholesterol to rise but that's pretty much been debunked)

It's obviously bullshit. A lot of people with severe food allergies won't even eat at restaurants that serve the food they are allergic to because of the risk of cross contamination.

Yeah, I've heard of the egg allergy because it's a question they ask when getting a flu shot. But I never knew you could be allergic to egg whites but not yolks.
